Five Ways Jagex Has Improved RuneScape
Five ways Jagex has improved Runescape.
After some many disappointing updates and changes like making trade-limits and taking away the wild, jagex has made a very good comeback. Here are 5 improvements that it has made since that time.
1. It has brought back pking and in a much better way. Back in the days of the Wildy you could get only what the person has which was rarely over 300k but now with the new pvp worlds and especially bounty hunter worlds, by killing a target with nothing on you could get unlimited rewards like statuettes worth 5 million and corrupt items etc. Although you could also get very rare things like abyssal whips and dragon-fire Shields without the person having them jagex has taken this away. Also I think pking is much better now with the idea that you can kill all over Runescape, not just the wildy.
2. After making a trade limit, many players believed that merchanting had come to an end but they were wrong. A new, better kind of merchanting came with the creation of the Grande Exchange. Not only can you play with the constantly changing prices to make a profit but you can also sell items much faster without worrying about being there and constantly writing: Selling yew logs 400 each. All in all, the G.E has made many rare items much easier to get, and it is now impossible to get scammed when buying and selling items.
3. After the Wilderness was taken away, and before the new Pvp worlds were brought back in, Jagex started a project to create many Pvp games to substitute the old Wilderness. They did not stop this even after Pvp worlds were introduced. Many new games like Bounty hunter, Fist of Guthix, Soul wars, Stealing Creation and most recently mobilizing armies were made to keep the players entertained and so far they have proved to work.
4. The constant graphic packs and updates have made Runescape a real worthy game because any gamer knows that graphics are one of the most important things in games.
5. The last small update that has made Runescape better was Jagex updating the Auto-casting option of spells. It seems like a small thing but now you can auto-cast spells like guthix claws and don’t have to have a staff to auto-cast which can be very help full in some situations. Also the fact that staffs like the ancient staff will now give you 10% more damage makes magic, a very underrated combat skill, much more stronger
