Fun, Easy, Sure-fire Tips to Get Money on RuneScape

So, let’s get to it. The first tip I have – sell what may be just the most useless thing in the whole world of Runescape but still sells for some reason – ASHES. I don’t know why people wanted it, but they did. And everybody got in the buzz soon enough. I first discovered when I told my brother to sell random stuff he picked up – which included ashes… and you know the rest. So, try it out. Last time I saw it( which was a long time ago – sorry) it was around a hundred or something. Maybe sixty-six? Eighty-six? Hmm…

Another item you can sell that people think they can just buy and to me it isn’t all that useful(except for Firemaking xp) is all sorts of WOOD. What I have tried is oak logs, and I just go to the oak near the fountain/water source to the east of the Grand Exchange. Just cut down until your inventory is full – you get Woodcutting xp plus you can do other things while your player chops away. You could also try the willow logs, yew logs(although those are hard to get and annoying when other people get your yew tree) and so on. 

I bet you can give me an example of something that gives you xp when you use or craft them somehow. Logs? Ores? Bars? How about rune essence? Anything that can give high xp for a particular skill would be in high demand. Yew logs, for instance.(It’s an old favorite.) Rune essence is annoying to gather, since it takes up so much space when you gather it, and once you get some, you might decide to use them for yourself. Runes, too. Magic skillers or just others who want to practice magic will love buying runes, as they can’t be bothered getting their own runes from drops or spawns. Try it out!

Next way of gaining money – and plus, you can get really good items that can help you with travelling the world of Runescape! What you can do is do TASKS. It doesn’t matter which, Lumbridge and Draynor, Varrock, Falador, even Karamja! You just do random tasks on the list(on the tool bar under the inventory, click on the second button – that’s the Tasks page). Then you go to the local Taskmaster of the Task level and area you did(check on the Runescape Wiki for that – www.runescape.wikia.com) , and get your reward! Sometimes it’s some coins(a thousand or so?) or some other kinda-rare thing – like sapphires, sapphire amulets, nature runes, and herrings as well(though that isn’t that rare).

An indirect way of getting money – do SKILLING. It may seem a bit tedious, and maybe a bit obvious too, but it bears repeating – if you get higher in any skill, you will be able to access/make better stuff. For example, Mining – really easy, and you can do it with the ever-popular iron, since it re-spawns quickly and it gives decent-ish experience. And how about its partner Smithing – get the ores you were able to mine, and start smelting and and hammering! Sell your results on the Grand Exchange – unless you want to use them yourself – and reel in the money! You’ll be surprised at how much of the good stuff you can get!
