Hill Giant Training

Why hill giants, what is so special about them? Well they are the lowest leveled giant that drops big bones! and Big bones give 15 experience per bone! They also have high hit points and low defence making them easy training material! Here is a step by step guide on how to find, kill and other interesting facts about hill giants.

The Location

The one location we will be focusing on (as it is the best location in my opinion) is the cave under the house unlocked by the brass key west of Varrock. You can buy the brass key in the grand exchange or you can if you already have one, get one from the spawn point inside the dungeon itself. Another good thing about this location is that it is relatively close to a bank and it is also close to a river fishing or fly fishing spot. Which makes for a good source of food. (there is also a everlasting fire in the barbarian village a little west of the fishing spots. In the dungeon itself there are MANY safe spots for rangers and the steel and iron arrows the giant drops are also very useful.
