How to Make a Free RuneScape Video on a Mac

This helpful guide teaches you how to make a RuneScape video on a Mac, free! Five easy steps!

Are you always complaining that it’s like impossible to make a RuneScape video for free on Mac? And when you search ‘How to make runescape vid on mac for free’, you still have a giant watermark! This guide will tell you how to make a free RuneScape video on Mac for free! No watermark!

Step 1: Download a screen recorder. You’ll need a screen recorder to record the things you’ll be doing on RuneScape. I recommend iShowU because it’s free and really easy to use. Screenium, another screen recorder, is good, but the problem with it is that it takes up too many gigabytes. Notice that I said gigabytes. Screenium takes up too much space. Screenflow is also good, but it has a watermark when you record stuff. The link for downloading is http://www.shinywhitebox.com/. Then press download iShowU. Once it has completely downloaded, right-click(control-click, or two fingers on trackpad-click) and press Open. Or maybe it has already opened. Add it to your Applications folder, and, if you want, on your dock and/or desktop.

Step 2:  Register iShowU. If you start recording now, a huge water mark will appear, but we don’t want this. So, click on the button that says ‘iShowU’ up on the menu bar. Then click on Register. A window will pop up, and it will ask for account details. Of course, you don’t have an account, so click on register manually. It will ask for your name, email, and registration key. In the name box, type in Jack Cracker. In the email box, type in Jack@Cracker.com. For the Registration Key box, copy and paste this:    ISHOWU-cmkjiE-WGJDU-TxrHJ-NqDjm-UhkFj-ee Cnd-xkYPf-Ke. (Don’t copy and paste in the period!) Now, when you record, there’s no watermark!

Note: You can also go to YouTube and type in “iShowU registration key” if this doesn’t work.

Step 3:  Record RuneScape. Now it’s time to record whatever you’re doing on RuneScape. Edit the recording area to a size you want. If you want to start, stop, pause, or abort the recording without the watcher knowing, iShowU(the button in the menu bar) –> Preferences –> Keyboard Shortcuts. Now change the keyboard shortcuts. If you need more help, check the link to the manual below.

Step 4: Import the recording to iMovie or iMovie HD. Assuming that you are using iMovie and/or iMovie HD to edit(I have both), you will need to import the recording to iMovie or HD. Before importing, make sure you like the recording(s). Once you like the recording(s), open up iMovie or HD, and on the menu bar above, click File. After clicking File, press Import, find your file, and click Open. If you are using iMovie, it will load in an event. Be sure to open a new Event when importing to separate this recording from other clips! If you are using iMovie HD, just make a new movie when importing.     Note: If you stopped the recording, be sure to import all the recordings you’re going to use!

Step 5: Edit the video and make it perfect. In iMovie, create a new project and drag the parts of the event(s) to the project. In iMovie HD, drag the clip(s) to the place where it says ‘Drag clips here to create your project.’ Now add titles, video effects, transitions, ending credits, music, and others. When you’re done, watch it over to make sure you like it. If you do, you’re done! If you don’t, edit it a bit more! Once you like it, well done! You have made a RuneScape movie(or video)! Sit back and enjoy your awesome vid!

Extras: If you would like to put your videos in YouTube or something like that, click on Share in the menu bar. Then click on what you would like to share to. Follow the instructions and everything, and then the video will have been shared! If you would like to have Screenflow instead, go to YouTube.

In YouTube, search ‘free screenflow’ or something like ‘how to get screenflow for free’ or something like that. But still, iShowU works fine with me. But, still, I got Screenflow for free for YouTube and it rocks!!!! But I still use iShowUScreenflow tutorial is here:  http://www.telestream.net/pdfs/user-guides/ScreenFlow-Tutorial.pdf.

I worked very hard on this tutorial(took around a week for all the research and typing and everything).

But I hope you liked it!
