I started playing Runescape around 2005 or 2006. My cousin played a lot, and at that point (and to a lesser, ‘maturer’ way now) I really looked up to my cousin. I wanted to be like him in almost every way, so I created an account. I was never any good, and still am not great, but I really liked the game until the trade limit was introduced.

When the limit was introduced, I tried to continue playing, but it just got to be too much of a PITA. I relied a lot on my cousin and my friends to get extra money/items, and when that was limited, I was no longer successful.

In May of this year, I was pretty bored and decided to check out RuneScape again. I was gladdened by the fact that the limit was lifted.

I really enjoy playing the game, but I do not like everything Jagex does to make the game ‘fair’ like having 300x limits on most items and (lessened) trade limits for nonmembers. I feel that Jagex is focused WAY too much on getting members. I am now a member as of early July, and I have earned around 6M as well as levelling up in several skills.

A week or two ago, my account was hacked, and when I logged in, I had a net work of around 80k, all junk.

I reported it to Jagex, and after a few emails, I was told that I participated in a ‘legitimate trade’, that I would not be given anything back, and that I would not be told the username of the player I ‘traded’ with.

I *almost* quit, just because of my anger towards Jagex, but I changed my mind. I have put in so much work, and I shouldn’t let Jagex win this. In the last week, with limited play because of work, I have earned around 600k, and I want to continue.

I think that for you to give me money, not necessarily all 350M, (although I wouldn’t mind that either (; ) or really any item that you’re offering up, would help me get back on my feet as well as showing Jagex that they can’t limit people.

Whether you decide to give me anything or not, it’s really cool of what you’re doing and I hope that Jagex sees this and realizes that their actions are often not good for users and that users are angry from them.
