There are many ways in which a player can earn money easily in runescape without having high level skills or money making bots. I will lead you through 3 ways in which you can make money easily in a short amount of time without being banned for using bots or having to worry about your dough when power training skills later on. (These methods are for free-to-play and pay-to-play players but focuses mainly on free-to-play)

1. Rune Running

Rune running is a easy way to make money for the ‘runners’ who run back and forth between the bank and rune altars. It is  also beneficial to the ‘crafters’ who crafts runes. This is a easy and fast way to make money because crafters often pay high fees in addition to the exchange of 25~27 unnoted rune (pure) essence for  25~27 noted rune (pure) essence.

The only things required for you (the runners) is to have 25~27 unnoted rune (pure) essence in your inventory and trade with a crafter who needs runes. If someone says “open ___k”, it means that he/she is a crafter who needs unnoted essence and is willing to pay you ___k amount of money for it. Some crafters may give you noted items, gold or noted essence in exchange for your unnoted essence, so be careful when trading and watch for the highest offer before trading as you will earn more.

Crafters will offer an amount of money which they think is best and wait for runners to trade them. Try to find the highest offer and trade as fast as possible with that crafter because there will be other runners as well and offers range from 1k to 15k per run. Each trip will take around 2-3 minutes only (assuming you walk to the nearest bank) or less (if you teleport) so in a short amount of time, you can earn a lot of money by just running back and forth.

Notes:

-Sometimes crafters would not exchange you for noted essence and only your fee so you might need a backup stock in your bank incase they don’t return the essence.
-Teleporting to Daemonheim is suggested as it saves you time and energy from having to run back to your bank by using the Ring of Kinship.
-There are specific worlds for rune running where there will be more crafters/runners than other worlds (Air is World 16, Nature is World 36 and Law is World 66 or 99).
-After the addition of runespan and loadstone teleport updates, there may not be as many crafters requiring runners so it may be hard to find crafters sometimes.
