Is RuneScape Membership Worth The Money?
All you runescape fans out there have probably asked in the course of your playing it, "should I become a member?" I have been a non-member, to a member, and then back again, so I know what it is like to be a member, and not being a member. I will attempt to analyze if your money is worth having the extra benefits.
First of all, I will assess the Pros of being a member, then I will asses the cons.
Pros
1. You get 100+ more quests to complete.
2. You get 9 more skills to train.
3. You get an adition to all of your nonmember skills.
4. You get 29 more minigames to compete in.
5. You get to have your own house.
6. You get to have the ability for many, many more items.
7. You get a much bigger world to explore, just about 3x the size of nonmember world.
8. Plus, Jagex is constantly doing more member updates, like fullscreen mode, new items, and more “specialized” servers.
In conclusion, I estimate that you are only getting 1/5 of the game as a nonmember, but you get the full experience as a member
Cons
1. You have to pay.
2. You might not get your money’s worth, depending on how much you play.
3. Trying to get your money’s worth, you might miss out in social life or focus on more impoortant things less. (I.E. school, job, relationships, the works

All in all, there are many great things to do in runescape if you are a member. On the other hand, that money could be used for something better or more important. If you have some money to kill, however, runescape is inexpensive and offers you hours of fun. Do you want to be a member? You make the call.
