List of Dragons in RuneScape and How to Kill Them: Part Two
This is a sequel of the dragon guide that I’ve wrote. This will list six more powerful dragons in RuneScape.
Combat Level : 246
Hitpoints : 210
Max hit : 25 with Melee
Habitats : Brimhaven Dungeon
Fighting Strategies :
Melee : Safe Spotting with Halberd is not possible in the place where it resides. Using Abyssal whip is the best method to kill this dragon with one-handed weapon. To make the killing faster, you should drink super strength potion as well as super attack. Using melee prayer will make this dragon totally harmless but barrow armor will also tamper the damage most of the time. If you have high herblore level, you could drink Super Antifire potion and use Zamorakian Spear instead.
Ranged : Ranged is the most common and cheapest way to kill any Dragon. By standing at least 2 square away from the dragon using Rune Crossbow, Mithril Bolts and Ava’s Accumulator, you will barely need any food and you’ll only lose very small amount of money since Ava’s Accumulator will suck up most of your ammunition back. Safe spotting is not possible here since the Dragon will still fire its dragonbreath in ranged method. Hence Antifire potion is very essential here.
Magic : This is uncommon method but could still be effective. It’s recommended that you have finished Family Crest quest and get a Chaos Gauntlet. This way, your fairly cheap Bolts Spell will have its max hits increased by 3 and using Blast or Wave spells would not become much different than Bolts. With Chaos Gauntlet and level 50+ magic, you’ll approximately need to cast 70 Fire Bolts spells to kill one Steel Dragon. Metal Dragon is especially weak to Fire Spell, so fire bolts will be effective to it.
Notes : Steel Dragon commonly hunted for those who want to get a Draconic Visage that worth about 26 Million. It’s because they’re fairly easy to kill compare to KBD or Mithril Dragon and have a better chance of dropping it than Iron or Black Dragon. You will usually receive it after about 300-500 kills.
It can be annoying if Iron Dragon attacking you when you’re actually wanted to kill a Steel Dragon. This won’t become a problem if those dragons has become tolerant to you. The most common drop of this dragon is Runite Limbs which worth about 9,000 coins.

Good tips to share.
I hate dragons but your peice was well written!
Finaly finished the sequal great article and very useful tips as always. Very nicely put together and written. I don’t think i would be very capable of killing these dragons they sound very tough. Also you didn’t point out if they had any good drops worth killing them for?
You seemed to copy and paste your information from one section to the other…
A good guide though.
Aww, Triond somehow removed some part of the article… this is very annoying!! I’m going to fix this by myself!!
@mxpower : Those info is actually covered, but it’s missing right now thanks to Triond.
@kingryanv : Some dragons have same exact fighting strategy because they act the same so making their strategies different with each other will not do any good. Take a look at King Black Dragon and some other dragons, they have different strategy, it’s missing right now though.
Thank you for all your comments!!
Finally, I’ve fixed the guide. It’s now fully features all the stuffs you need to know about them all.
Enjoy and thanks for reading!
Mithril Dragons… I’d never heard of them! Hope that I can get a membership soon. I’ve always really wanted to fight a dragon (Besides Elvarg)
Mithril Dragon isn’t really popular in F2P because it’s pretty new. Good luck on getting your membership, Rouge!
i think that your guide is good
