List of RuneScape Updates From 2001, Good vs.. Bad

Outlook on Runescape the Good Vs Bad.

Hi i’ve been a Runescape player since 2001 so i’ve seen all the updates :P

Lets go through the major updates over the years and see how the game has become.

2001 – Runescape Beta released (good one i guess hehe)

2001 – Alot of new updates and items introduced with it been first year; huge success (good)

2002 – Faster and more Servers made and alot of bugs fixed (good)

2002 – Hiscores was introduced (good)

2002 – New report system (some say good some say bad probably because it was new and more confusing)

2002 – Tutorial Island introduced! (good)

2002 – Alot more great updates (good)

2003 – Alot of Quests (good)

2003 – Update on Range throwing weapons (Fun :) and good)

2003 – Lots of new monsters (good)

2003 – More quests (good)

2003 – Alot of fake 3d Beta websites been made thousands of accounts hacked (bad)

2003 – Legends Quest made hardest quest then (good)

2003 – Runescape 2 (current) was released yey (Amazing)

2004 – Alot of bugs, most of them fixed shortly after (good/bad)

2004 – lots of tweaks (good)

2004 – Bank notes (Amazing!!! imagen runescape without noted items now >.<)

2004 – Bigger banks :) (good)

2004 – Fake Email scam thousands of passwords taken (bad)

2004 – hundreds of mini updates (good)

2005 – New female body kit, huge boobs (good for lonely people who get turned on by it xD)

2005 – Cook ‘X’ (Good!)

2005 – Tzhaar! firecape and all obby items including fury ect (GOOD!!!)

2006 – 5000 RS classic accounts banned due to them cheating (owned)

2006 – Pest control (old) woooo xp (good)

2006 – Play own houses! (good waste of cash; my opinion)

2006 – Cross bows and lunar brought out :D (good)

2006 – Achievement cape (awesome update)

2007 – Runescape has 1 million members yey!!! (good for jagex)

2007 – Wilderness Ditch, gf noob lurers (good)

2007 – Darkbow and DFS(good)

2007 – RWT increases alot Jagex warn us (bad)

2007 – Godwars and swords (yey good)

2007 – Assist system (good)

2007 – Grand Exchange (good/bad)d

2007 – Wilderness, trade, Duel, limit put into place, RWT stopped (Very bad yet no RWT so rs survives :/)

2008 – Bounty Hunter (Good)

2008 – Coinshare

2008 – Funorb (the joy lol)

2008 – Quick Chat (awesome)

2008 – Runescape HD (good)

2008 – Jagex Store (Wooooooo?)

2008 – Item Lending (WOOOOT)

2008 – PVP worlds (good :/ )

2008 – While guthix sleeps, masterquest!!! Dragon claws! (not so hard :/ wasn’t pleased but d claws!!! good)

2009 – Weak passwords must be changed (good)

2009 – Soul wars (good)

2009 – Log out timer (great)

2009 – Deposite all in bank (good)

2009 – Animation Pack1  (not so good)

As you can see there has been alot of major updates since 2001 omg!

From 2001-2006 updates where very often and very good :) but 2006+ it slowed down and amazing updates because more rare but we still got them

It’s not all bad :)

Please comment on your thoughts and also correct me if i’ve missed any major updates :)

    Nice. You must have been really high level now.

    I don’t know most of the updates history because the first time I played was 2 years ago. This article tell them all, Great!

    I miss the good ol times before ge and trade limits ect. Private servers still have those lol. And they are alot easier
