Make Random Events More Common
The guide to getting random events to happen more in Runescape.
Hi everyone, today I will show you how to make random events happen more often. A random event is a non-virus engine that suddenly pops out of nowhere and give you a prize. Some random events are dangerous, some are events that give you prizes, and others can be plain annoying.
Common Random Events
The most common random events are the one with the mystery box and the mysterious old man.
Rare Random Events
Well, the random event that takes you to a classroom is the least common.
Actually there is no rare random event.
How To Make Random Events More Common
I bet you all want to know how to get random events more often. Well after years of playing and examining I finally figured out how to make random events pop up more often.
Don’t you realize that random events mostly happen when you are about to do something. Like when you start burying a bone, eating food, cutting gems, cooking, fishing and even when you pick a fight with a monster. Well I made a strategy that you can use these elements altogether to make random events pop up more often. But just the actions won’t be enough to draw them out. You also need to go to the most common locations as well.
Got to a location where random events mostly happen. Like the fishing dock in karumja, the stronghold of security and the grand exchange.
Random Events By Combat
After you are at those places bring a few things that make you do an action. For example when I go down to the stronghold to train I bring: a chisel (for cutting jewelry if any are dropped by monsters), some food (to eat so I won’t die) and a weapon to kill monsters with.
Then go kill some monsters, bury the bones they drop. Cut the jewelry the drop and eat your food. a random events should happen a few times before you exit the cave.
Random Events By Fishing and Cooking
Bring an axe, matches, 30 coins and your fishing equipment (depending on your fishing level).
Go to the dock in karumja and fish. Fish until your inventory is full then cook or drop the fish and keep repeating this until random events come. (This is also a good way to pass time)

if u go to ankous lvl 75 in stronghold and bury bones every 15 mins itll give u randoms

-thirst go to wildy at the pray altar there r a lot of bones there.
-get 1 bone
- w8 15min there,when the times up and there will come a random event! DONT MOVE EAT… ONLEY STAY THERE AND W8 TALKING IS ALLOWD!

event.I go to the grand
exchange a lot and i got full camo from the drill demon random event by just merchanting at the grand exchange so if anyone wants any random event like the mime random event its happend to me twice today at the grand exchange so if you want the drill demon random event to happen or the mime random event just merchant or buy or sell stuff at the grand exchange you can just stand at the grand exchange and the drill demon or mime event will happen
ive seen a lot of people gettin random events at da grand exchange but it nvr happens 2 me wat am i supposto do to get 1
I’ve only had one random event and it was the mystery box one. I got it when i was in some house in falador. I’ve seen so many random events at the fishing spot in Draynor (mostly sandwich lady, evil chicken, and strange old man). Fish there or cut down trees for a while and it’ll work.
go on ankous at stronghold and range em\’ i got so much random events in 1 hour (more than 10) (((not world 1!!!)))
so what your saying drill demon is that if i go to the grand exchange i can make the mime and drill demon event happen better? i made the joker on RS and i need the mime mask and the prince outfit
Pk dude i got to thank you. I now have full frog, pheasent hat and top, drill deamon top and both mime emotes! im now trying to get the zombie mask and cloths or whatever i can get. (P.S. It was all in the stronghold of security)

i know how to get event everytime in stronghold
but it’s every 15min.
getting the grave man event is simple.
kill things (any thing that drops NORMAL bones) and store the bones in ur bank
after you get about 100 or so, go to varrock west bank and with draw 28 bones.
go to the little guard tower just southwest of the bank and bury bones. repeat until you get the event, it worked for me and i got full zombie stuff.
go to wild and go to the fene were its members only past the fence and bury a bone evey 15 mins and evey 15 mins u get the grave digger random!!

i got most of my full camo from hangin round the ge if not full!
I got a full camo, most of the mime, and a couple of frog tokens from being down on the 1st floor of the Stronghold of Security fighting those medatoar things. I’ve also gotten some of the pheasent killing random event clothes at the grand exchange. As well as the pinball event which convenentally I got things like diamonds and rubys right in the grand exchange so I made a quick buck too! =)

Ok people here’s a good guide how to get a random event and + i dunt think it’s against the rules because it’s bug abuse and this is not a bug as it was deliberately coded into the game
1.) Bury a bone log out and log back in and time for 15 mins after you press the *click here to play button* button. and stay still you can talk and do emotes *i recommend emotes as i think you can get mime more often* and stay still don;t move or you’ll ruin it ok then after 15 mins bury the bone and you’re bound to get a random event *90% chance* =D good luck
2.) Stronghold of security is a great place for random events people. if you were to go into the room furthest south east of the second floor in the stronghold of security and kill flesh crawlers *lvl 35* until they stop attacking you *thats about 5 mins and it’s also good training too and wehn they stop attacking you you kill the rats and get their bones and bury them until you get a random event and you can keep repeating this unless you get the box event which really ruins it
anwyays good luck people *i’m not sure if this is a glitch or not as you might get banned if this was but it worked for me* as i always trained on these things and my friend said if you want them to attack you again you gotta do a random event or exit the stronghold. anyways good luck people this is all i know

Go to Crandor, kill Moss giants, try not to talk alot….bury bones…..i’ve gotten the mysterious old man and gravedigger! =] Try it!
BTW, stick to one doing at a time. EX: Kill moss giants over and over and over and over again lol
i minied coal for about 1 hour and got full mime, lederhosan, camo, zombie and a crap load of stat boasters, gold, gems and frog coins.

oh if your woundering why the mime has a black beret hat with mime mask and you dont? well in members world buy a black beret hat and take your mime mask as well and travel to Mos Le’Harmless Island best free way to get there is to talk to Billy in Port Phasmatys Also You Can Get there by talking to Charter Ship Crews! But anyways when you get to Mos’Le Harmless Talk To Patchy hes found normaly wandering around near the bank it Costs 500coins to connect Black Beret Hat With Mime Mask And 600Coins To Take Them Apart But if you wanna look more like the Mime from the event connect The Black Beret Hat To The Mime Mask

You can also Connect Other idems much as pirate hats eye patches lobby claw pirate hook so go ahead try it out you can only get them connected by patchy on Mos Le’Harmless island and again you can only do on Members!

Random events also appear if u take large breaks between ur actions. (clicking mouse). And most in u axactly repeat one action all the time.
