Mining and Smithing in Runescape

Get your Pickaxe and equip it so you don’t have anything in your inventory. Go to Lumbridge and come out of the gates and go to the mining pit to the East. Mine fourteen copper ores and fourteen tin ores, then go back to Lumbridge and smith it. Do this until you have about two hundred and fifty bronze bars. Go to Varrock and go to the bank. Get a load of bronze bars and a hammer. Right across from the bank should be an anvil. Use a Bronze Bar on the anvil and make the highest weapon/armor/equipment you can. Once done with that go back to the bank and deposit the equipment that you have made. Keep doing this until you are all out of Bronze Bars. You should get your mining level up to thirty if it isn’t. I would suggest mining Runes Essence until level thirty. Sell the Rune Essence or if you want to Runecraft it. Once level thirty mining get the best pickaxe that you can. Go to Falador and go to the Dwarven Mine. Go mine a full inventory of Iron Ore and smith it.

Put it in your bank and go get another load. (While smithing Iron you only have a fifty percent chance of success of making a iron bar.) It might take a while, but sooner or later you will have two hundred and fifty Iron Bars. Take a load of Iron Bars with a hammer and go down to the Dwarven Mines. Find the anvils and use your Iron Bar with it. Make the best equipment you can with it. Keep doing this until you have used all of your Iron Bars. If you want, go to Varrock and go to the Grand Exchange and sell all of the Equipment that you have made. Buy the best Pickaxe that you can and equip it. If you are not to level fifty mining I would suggest getting it, because mining coal ore takes a little while. After you are done getting level fifty mining go to the mining pit in Al Kharid and mine coal. After you have a load of coal ores go to the Al Kharid Bank and deposit them. Keep doing this until you have five hundred coal ores.

After doing this go back to the mining pit and mine two hundred fifty iron ores. Deposit them all in the bank. For one Steel Bar it takes two coal ores and one iron ore. Smith all of the bars in Al Kharid and then go to Varrock. Take a load of Steel Bars and a hammer and smith the highest Equipment you can then go to the bank and deposit the equipment. Keep doing this until you have no more Steel Bars. Sell all of the equipment and buy the Best Pickaxe that you can buy( should be the Rune Pickaxe.) If you aren’t level seventy mining I suggest it or maybe level sixty-five. Go mine Mithril Ores and Coal Ores and do the exact same thing that I have told you to do before. If you don’t want to mine any of the Ores and you are rich, just buy all of the Ores from the Grand Exchange and Smith them. This concludes this tutorial and I hope that it helped.
