My Runescape Story

On December 2005, a friend of mine introduced me to RuneScape. A game where you kill monsters and beat quests and work on many different skills to make money. So, after she showed me her account and how to play, she helped me make an account of my own. I played about 30 minutes a day and didn’t really care about it. As time passed by, i started playing it more and more everyday and i got hooked to it before it knew it. I was trying to make more money and get higher skills to make my character more powerful and more respectable by other players.

After about an year of playing, i showed my cousin my account and he soon joined me and we got membership together and started training member skills. I started membership when i was about level 60. We trained a lot and made lots of money to get items that we wanted and We had so much fun doing quests together as i played while he told me what to do looking at a quest guide on RuneHq. After summer 2007, my cousin went to college and quit playing runescape with me. 

I continued playing in 2008 to complete more quests and train more skills. I was addicted to it the most in 2007 and 2008. I couldn’t stop playing no matter what i did. I used to come home from school and start playing RuneScape. I didn’t play a lot when i was addicted. I played 1 or 2 months and i took a break for 2 months. This is how i played after my cousin quit.

In 2009, i realized how much runescape affected me and i decided to officially quit playing runescape. I had the will power to quit and i did. i completely sold everything in my bank except full void set, fighter torso, holiday items, summon charms, and other non tradable items. I ended up with 20.3 million gold coins after spending lots of money on skills and after losing a lot of money in price changes, dying in pking, etc. I still think it is a decent account and i am proud i quit playing and i am also proud of that account. I still log on sometimes to talk to some good Friends in the game.
