New Runescape Server
A French server is under construction for runescape.
After Removing the wilderness and adding trade limits to solve one problem, Bots, which people have been complaining about a lot, Jagex caused even more depression and annoyance than the bots had been. Thousands of players quit and the rumor went around that runescape was now ruinscape.
To stop people from leaving jagex made a few changes, they made a few of the member events available to free-players and to silence the paying players which complained that now there was no point in paying to play, anymore, they added a new skill, summoning.
This calmed most of the rioters but some still remain and jagex are coming up with yet another clever sceme to make people happy. A new server.
I found this out by searching for jobs on Jagex’s official company site. They are looking for a language translator from France as they are planning on adding a French Server in the future. This will take a lot of work so it may not come soon.
Although my personal opinion is that a French Server is very pointless. The majority of runescapes population is made up of English and Dutch players so a Dutch server would be more fitting. I had never seen a German player before the German server was added and I have NEVER seen a French player.
I have seen at least a hundred Dutch players, though. If Jagex continue to spend money on foolish decisions they will eventually fall apart. All we will have to do is wait to see what happens.

You’d never seen a German player before the German servers? Thats the point. Jagex is creating these foreign servers to entice people from those countries to join RuneScape. It worked with Germany, you’ve said so yourself. Why not with the French, or the Spainish?
Good point, Thanks for your opinion. I was actually incorrect when I wrote this. I decided to put more reasearch into the matter by looking for French players. After learning the basics of French and speaking french in a few runescape banks I met around five or six French players, which is not many. During that time I met about twenty dutch players.
Although you’re right about them encouraging Foreign players to join. I never really though of that so hopefully readers of this articles also read the comments.
