Pkdude’s Fist of Guthix Guide
Wanna learn how to be extremely successful in fist of guthix?
Hi everyone I’m writing a guide about the new minigame that has been just released in Runescape, The fist of Guthix. I’m going to show you how to earn tokens effectively and easily. So you’ll never lose or make a mistake again.
About The Game:
The fist of Guthix is based on earning charges and hunting the person that is earning charges.
NOTE: This is a safe minigame so you won’t lose any items if you die.
Objectives:
Charger:
If you are the charger you must collect a stone from a magic pillar and hold it as long as you can manage. You will earn charges if you wield the stone. Charges can be used to exchange for tokens the more charges you earn the more tokens you get. The closer to the center you are the more charges you will earn. Try to stay alive as long as possible before your opponent kills you. Remember that your stats will be reduced due to the stones power. You will be quite weak to attacks even if your defense is 99.As a charger you must follow some rules:
- -No food is allowed
- -You can not leave the arena
That makes it harder for you to survive in the arena, but you do have healing items and tools to aid you while you complete your objective.
When you start the game you will have:
- -5 Healing Band-Aids
- -Elemental runes
- -Catalytic runes
- -Tele Orb
The Band-Aids will heal 15 hp and restore some of your running strength. The Elemental runes will be substitute for fire, air, water and earth runes. The catalytic runes will be substitutes for all the remaining runes. The Tele-Orb is used to Teleport you to the center of the arena where the charge is strongest.

Hunter:
When you are the hunter you must kill the person that has the stone so they can’t earn a lot of charges. If the opponent earns more charges then you at the end of the two games then he or she shall win. It also works the other way around.

Minigame calculations:
I’m sure you all want to know the calculations of the tokens and charges.Heres what I figured out:
- -The least amount of tokens earned per round is 8
- -The least amount of rating lost is 2(if you lose)
- -The minimum amount of rating needed to get into the high scores is 500
The max amount of tokens you get per round is unknown. The maximum I got was 20 from 5000 charges. (I was fighting an lvl 15 noob….)

Herb Gloves
Irit, avantoe, kwuarm and cadantine gloves increase the chance that you will receive those herbs as drops instead of other herbs. Any time that you would receive a herb drop, there is a 50% chance that it will automatically be the same herb as your gloves. This has no effect on creatures like fever spiders, who only drop one type of herb. These gloves will crumble to dust after 100 such drops.
You need a Herblore level of 50 to wear irit gloves, 60 to wear avantoe gloves, 70 for kwuarm gloves, and 80 for cadantine gloves.
Fishing Gloves
Swordfish and shark gloves give you 100 extra Fishing experience every time you catch the same sort of fish as your gloves. These gloves will crumble to dust after catching 1,000 of the appropriate fish.
You need a Fishing level of 65 to wear swordfish gloves and 90 to wear shark gloves.
Runecrafting Gloves
Air, earth and water Runecrafting gloves give double the normal experience when you are crafting runes of the same type as your gloves. The gloves will crumble to dust after you have used 1,000 essence in this way.
You need a Runecrafting level of 10 to wear air Runecrafting gloves, 20 to wear water Runecrafting gloves, and 30 to wear earth Runecrafting gloves.
Dragon Slayer Gloves
Dragon slayer gloves are an excellent tool for adventurers embarking on Slayer assignments to kill dragons. You will receive 10% more Slayer experience for each dragon you kill on a Slayer task while wearing these gloves. They will crumble to dust after killing 1,000 dragons.
You need a Slayer level of 70 to wear dragon slayer gloves.
Actual Hints and tips:
Ok, ok I know you are all tired from reading stuff you already know, So Lets get to business.
Charger:
As a charger first you need really good armor, like maybe full rune or dragon, an amulet of defense, cape, gloves and boots can also fit nicely in the set. Bring a staff and some melee weapons for future use. (No items below rune please, don’t embarrass yourself)
Now you are ready to enter, when you get in (after many times of clicking the entrance) you should scan around for the nearest magic pillar that holds a stone. Then after the 3, 2, 1 count is done run to the pillar to pick it up. Then immediately use your Tele-Orb to get to the center, and then walk into the fist of Guthix (remember to wield the stone) then stay at the same spot and scan the arena for your hunter. When he/she comes into view start walking around the crowded fist of Guthix. That’ll decrease the chance that your opponent will find you and click attack. After a short while your opponent will find you. When he or she attacks you move to the outside of the crowd. Then look at the person’s combat style. If they are using melee turn on melee protect (if range use range pray and so on), that’ll also decrease the chance of getting hit. Then stay in the crowded area, use band-aids if your heal falls below 32. (If your health level is less than 32 than what the hell is wrong with you?)In that duration your hunter might try to switch attack styles like from magic to melee. Then you are in luck you can run around the crowd again and you will lose him (Dude turn off your prayer). When he finds you repeat the method until you have 30hp or less. Then run into the portals and run around the arena as long as you can. If this method is followed correctly you shall get 1000 charges or more.
Hunter:
When you are a hunter you should have no armor on and a staff in your inventory and a melee weapon (I recommend an elemental staff). Then when the timer runs out wield your staff and set your attack to the best spell you have. Then run to the center of the arena your target might be there, because it’s the most common place). If you find your target immediately click on the spot he/she is at, Then scan for the name. When you find it click attack and turn on your aim boost prayer (e.g. mystic might, clarity of though, eagle eye).Do not touch the mouse after that just chase him/her. If they run into a teleporter then run to another one if you are lucky you may find your target standing there(lol, they must be like WTF????)If you didn’t find the target go back to the center. Don’t worry he/she will come back because the outer arena won’t give much charges. When he or she comes into view use your strongest combat stat to finish them off, then bam you win.
Myths:
Come say if you wear Guthix trimmed armor inside the minigame your stats won’t be reduced as much. This has not been proven true or false but we will find out some day.
Accomplishments:
Following this guide I have earned:
3 days of playing
- -1020 rating in
- -878 Tokens
But of course I lost a few times, but overall it was a good run.
Secret tip:
To have a more chance of getting inside the cave use an auto clicker (don’t tell Jagex I said that). You can find a good one here.
