Rsbot: The Ultimate Free Bot – Undetectable by Jagex
RuneScape is the leading free MMORPG game in the world. Tons of people are online all at once especially with the release of the old Wildy and Free trade! This game is very time consuming and is considered a "level grinding" game. Using a bot is one way to upgrade fast without spending months of your time getting to that desired level. And now with free trade, you don’t have to risk your main account!

RuneScape bots and any other 3rd party software are against RuneScape’s rules, and there is always the possibility of getting caught, so bot safely by botting on skillers only! Other bots, in most cases, are more detectable because their algorithms do not perform such as a human would, or their client injection methods are detectable. However, thankfully, RSBot uses an advanced method to download and hook the game client making it possible to extract data.
- My Story: How I found RSBot -
Months back in 2008, I had been looking for a user friendly bot that is nearly undetectable. But I was worried that I was going to get hacked or accidentally install some virus or Trojan. As I was looking through forums, searching for a bot, my eyes fell across a comment suggesting: “Why don’t you try RSBot, isn’t that what everyone uses?”. So I searched around a bit and finally found it, the legit RSBot. Their website looked very professional, popular and well managed. I downloaded the file, and it worked GREAT! No more using bots that rely on pixels.
Description
RSBot is very easy to use and the best part about it, is that it’s free and always will be! In the past, whenever Jagex released an update to RuneScape, the bot had to be updated manually by the developers! Developers in the past worked very hard to create an automatic updater which will update RSBot within a couple minutes after an update!
From reading the comments, some people seem to think that I am the creator of this bot – This is false!
Downloading – For botters.
Step 1: Go to RSBot’s website by clicking on the following link: RSBot Website
Step 2: At the top of the website, click the Download button on the menu.

Using RSBot
RSBot is very easy to use, and has the cleanest interface behind RSBuddy.
Basic Features -
- Run Script - One way to open the script selector.
- User Input - Very convenient when running scripts and you don’t want to interfere with the bot’s mouse.
- Output LogBox – Scripts may output their status to this.
User Accounts -
If you plan on letting RSBot logout/login your account for breaks, you must use the Account manager to save your account information.
(I do not recommend saving your account information on RSBot, because thousand of accounts have been stolen in the past from modified versions of RSBot which steal your accounts.)
Menus -
‘File’ Tab:
A backup if the bot GUI buttons fail.
‘Edit’ Tab:
This tab provides some very useful options for the user, such as disabling unwanted features like Auto Login or Anti-Randoms. This is also where you open the Account Manager to input your account data.
Note: “Less CPU” disables all the RuneScape object/NPC/Player drawing – All you can see is the ground.
‘View’ Tab:
This tab is mostly for development purposes and is a very useful tool. By using RSBot’s debugging system, Scripters can find the IDs of NPCs, Objects, Inventory Items, or even Ground items! It’s fun just checking them out
Script Selector -
To start a script click the “Run” button on the main GUI or in the ‘File’ tab. This will load the “Script Selector”.
After selecting a script. Continue by clicking “Start Script”.

RuneScape botting is NOT allowed, and if you want to keep your runscape account, i strongly suggest you don’t. You are BREAKING THE RULES of RuneScape. You know the time will spend on making a new account and lvling it? You could spend that on training woodcutting or whatever you where botting with. Its not worth it. Don’t do it.
This bot is not detectable so you wont be getting banned or anything. I dont RECOMMEND cheating on RS, I’m just telling you guys about it…and as i said in the article, i rarely use this bot myself

hmmm very interesting great article and well written. I don’t know about bots i would use it on my main but i don’t think its worth the risk. Jagex bought out a new macro/bot detecting update that they reckon will pick up everything like a month ago so i don’t no but you can be sure that if you are caught your going to be banned.
I’m sorry to burst your little bubble buddy, but this bot and every other bot out there can be detectable. Though this is a good bot don’t ever assume you can’t be detected. If you are going to use this bot NEVER use it on your main.
idk, the scripts are very random and hard to detect. But of course there is a little change of getting caught. But you can increase your chances of not getting caught by:
Not playing 24/7
Don’t run the bot everyday
Take time doing normal quests
Use advanced scripts with powerful randoms
i currently own about three hunder d dollars worth of those bots and they all work great dont get ur bot ne ware but rsbots seriously they are undetectable for sure but u need to bot safely as well

Guys for a better bot get Kbot. It’s better then RSbot because when i used to use rsbot i tried leaving it on all night and it wouldnt work because of the randoms. But on Kbot it will. Im not saying i bot over night. Ive done it twice. But ive had where the bot has lasted 9 hrs without messing up. Kbot is totally better then Rsbot.

this bot i quite easy to detect… i know a lots of peeps getting banned cuz of this bot buy perfecticus bots i got my self 3 acc i selled after i botted it not 1 ban 2acc with 99 hunter (fully botted and a acc with 50mil and 99cook en fletch also botted)

Hey you guys. I had kbot for a while but they shut down so don’t bother with them. That leaves rsbot about the only other botting program out there. It’s great. If you wanna download get svn first. The bot will work without it but you won’t be able to get new scripts into the bot which is pointless really. so google tutorials on downloading svn. oh and one more thing the url //dev.rsbot.org/rsbot/trunk
might not work. If it doesn’t try this clicking on the down arrow and doing a different url. Good Luck and Happy Botting!

@ ballsack – You do not need to update the bot yourself, although it may take a while for the bot developers to fix whatever…
@ andrew – If you actually have RSBot downloaded or whatever, you would see that there are combat SCRIPTS in the Script Selector. Try downloading it, and search through the Script Selector list, you will find what you are looking for.
@ connor – Currently, RSBot is undergoing some “maintainance”, they are rewriting the bot. A new version should be coming out soon. But there is no ETA.
@ iwnabotbadly – I don’t know how to help you with this problem. Are you talking about the jar file? Try finding an online manual on how to fix your Java Environment Settings. You may need to set the Java path.

u should seriously update this thread cuz dude http://www.rsbot.org has now been taken over by jagex but if u have rsbot version 125 it will still work perfectly but the bad thing is you cant get any new scripts unless you make them yourself

I have been using it every day for about 15 hours, and sometimes i leave it on for 40+ hours straight without breaks.
Trust you WILL NOT get banned if you are a high level as you get strikes to your account from Jagex before you get banned.
I got this from a player Moderator i know and he knows this for a fact from Jagex Moderators themselves.
Low-level characters such as a lvl 3 with 99 cooking etc that bot for as long as i do WILL GET BANNED but a lvl 80 botting WILL NOT GET BANNED WITHOUT PREVIOUS WARNING FIRST.
Jagex are cutting down on Gold Farmers now as that is the newest in Real Life Trading that involves Real life £££.
Anyways, that said and done with, here is a Gangstaa way to earn money AND train considerably fast in P2P.
1.- If you are NOT P2P (Member* Pay To Play*) but F2P (Free To Play) then go onto the RSBot website and search for the script ‘Coco’s Crawler Killer’.
2.- Open it and copy all of the Gibberish in the loooong box.
3.- Open a notepad document
4.- Paste Into the Notepad.
5.- Save as ‘Crawlah.java’, i think that is it but double check on the Script page and it will tell you what to save as.
6.- Go into you RSBot Scripts folder and click ‘Compile’
This should work, and if not ad the error message ‘Could not detect JDK’ or anything along those lines comes up,
6.- (1) Go into google,
6.- (2)Type in ‘JDK Download’,
6.- (3) Go through the steps and download it that way.
7.- Your all set now! Just Go to the Grand Exchange, buy X Thousand Lobsters and put into bank.
8.- Right, now withdraw a full inventory of Lobsters, and go to the Stronghold of Security. That is the Small Hole dead centre in the rocky mining outcrop Right Smack-Bang in the middle of the Barbarian Village ‘Roundabout’.
9.- Go down the hole, and go through the portal. If you cannot go through the portal, then keep navigating your way through the doors until you get to the big room with a Treasure chest inside.
10.- Go down the down ‘West’ Ladder, NOT UP THE ‘EAST’ LADDER, THAT WOULD BE RETARDED =D.
11.- Keep going straight south along the East side of the level, through all the doors and liddle maze thingy until you get to a room with Flesh Crawlers Inhabiting it. Note that if the room is Jam-Packed with high levels fighting them then world hop, Just switch worlds and the do the next step XD.
12.- Click on ‘Run Script’, click on Crawlah Killa, select lobsters in the Drop-down box, and click ‘OK’.
Thats everything! from now on you can just start the Script in the Edgeville bank, just that for the 1st time you need to start it down there.

6.- Click ‘No’ as you do not wish to Update it- If you ever wished to do that it would be a whole lot easier to just re-download RSBot it’s self otherwise you would have to save notepad, save into Pre-compiled etc. and that would be a waste of time and effort.

For Green dragons by the way, just incase your a high level and havn’t done them before,
1.- Get Dueling rings and Games necklaces in your bank, along with Anti-Dragon shields, and remember to EQUIP IT.
2.- Wear a ring of life just incase
3.- Withdraw 1 Dueling ring and 1 games necklace, and a full inventory if the Food you are going to eat, note that this IS NOT botting, this is manual, but this IS the quickest money making for Members other than Frost Dragons and Double Nat’s with Rune Crafting.
4.- Teleport to Clan Wars with the Games Necklace.
5.- Run EAST to where dragons are, and start killing! Note that Range is the best method for them, but all work other than mage, unless you have like 99 def as wearing good armour would give you -bonuses to magic attacks.
Pick up the Dragon bones AND the Green D’Hides they drop.
6.- Once you have a full inventory, right click on the ring of duelling (Note that you equip the Ring of Life and keep the Ring of Duelling in you inventory), and click on Castle Wars.
7.- Deposit all of the Dragon bones AND the Green D’Hides into the Bank Chest right next to where you teleport too and repeat! (Click teleport Clan wars again).
This is the method most people actually use to get rich as Members without the use of Non-Combat Skills, as it is goo experience, and very good money. You can get There abouts 1mill per hour doing this method if you are 100+cb and Not retarded =D

Sorry to hear that you got banned BB, it just happens sometimes. Theoretically, getting banned is caused by other players reporting you. So it’s random when a bot-crazy player walks up to you

how do you open the bot?..
@xgen500 – I don’t know if you have SVN or just the download of the bot. But if you have SVN, you will need to compile the bot by running compile.bat in the folder you dumped the repository into to. If you do not have the SVN, and just one file (a jar file) then you can just double click the file, and it should run. That is if you have Java installed, all you need is JRE (Java Runtime Environment) – The same thing that allows you to play RS legit.
Yeah, well Jagex discovered the bot, and the site domain is now controlled by Jagex, so the days of RSBot are over… :[

I believe I said in my article that there is always the possibility that you can get banned using this bot. Also, RSBot runs from scripts so the bot is able to be undetectable if you use a good flawless script with plenty of antibans. Each day RSBot grows more and more undetectable with each update, soon like Jagex said themselves: Bots will soon become fully invisible to them. RSBot is undetectable to a certain level. Jagex only bans you if they suspect you using a bot. (If you have bot like mouse movements, or are playing the game for long periods of time (6+ hours straight) or failing randoms. RSBot is working hard to improve their anti-randoms…)
lol guys…that anti bot macro thing jagex bought(i personally believe they just made a javascript to do this) ;is a piece of poop, all it does it watches every account and if it is not behaving like a human should they will be suspected , eg. your account is clicking on a tree for 20 hours straight…these bots right click people, spin ur screen, scroll the mouse over xp to check how much till lvl, etc. caz everyone tends to do that lol but anyways if u set it with breaks and stuff…i woudlnt risk 40 hours like that guy but like run it for 1 hour with 5 min breaks every hour and it shud do well, mines been workin for a good like 6 months?

Better bot than Rsbot
@Kaka – I have used RuneDev in the past when qauters what getting sued and the site was down. It’s the same bot as RSBot. RuneDev just uses RSBot’s bot and adds in there own scripts and adds some small features. Soon RSBot is going to surpass all others, and this is why I made this article, so people will began to see that RSBot is getting better and better.
@Jack – I believe RS2Bot is from rsbot.com. They are also like RuneDev but more professional. They have smarter programmers to make better scripts. My guess to how they got started was a group of RSBot scripters decided to make rsbot.com and sell premium scripts. But they too use RSBot’s engine.

i personally use the auto essence miner on about 10-12 bots and mine regular essence it is amazing money and no risk since these accounts mean nothing to you i have have hardly any banned so RS bot is very hard to detect even when its obvious your botting
I think people shouldn’t bot, if you not going to play and just bot, why bother playing at all. I am a very well known RS player and i have never been cough botting; why you may ask?
