Rune Battleaxe, Scimitar or Long Sword? RuneScape

firstly before i begin i will be assuming that you have played runescape before and are familiar with town/city locations and the battle/equipment needs.

Battle Axe

Positives

• Highest damage of all 3 weapons
• Fairly accurate
• Highest strength bonus of all 3 weapons
• Very Strong against Elvarg

Negatives

• Slowest of the 3 weapons
• Costs the most

Long Sword

Positives

• Second quickest
• Good damage, second best after battle axe
• Cheap
• Most accurate

Negatives

• Medium attack speed

Scimitar

Positives

• Fastest attack speed
• Very accurate

Negatives

• Lowest damage of the 3 weapons
• Weak against Elvarg

Summary

Firstly i’ll start with the Battle Axe, the battle axe has high damage but slow attack speed. This weapon would be best suited to someone with high attack but medium strength. Then comes the long sword, it has good damage as well as good speed, this would be suited to someone who has equal or slightly higher attack to strength. Lastly there is the scimitar, it has very good attack speed but has the lowest damage of these 3 weapons, i would recommend this weapon to someone that has high strength but lower attack.
