RuneScape 2009 Thanksgiving Event
Detailed guide and rewards for the new 2009 Thanksgiving event on RuneScape.
Guide
To start go to Lumbridge Castle (You can also use Lumbridge Home Teleport):
Talk to cook’s brother to start the event:
He will tell you that turkey’s have foiled the plans for his feast again. They’ve formed a turkey army and they are planning to attack. Say that you will help him to kill all the turkeys. He will teleport you to the field with the turkeys.
Before battle he will give some kind of potion or something that makes you very strong.
Talk to him and start killing all the turkeys (level 138). Don’t worry, they can’t kill you. they will barely hit 1’s on you. But you can easily hit 100’s on them.
After killing the all (this will take about 7-8 minutes) talk to cook’s brother. He will teleport you back to Lumbridge Castle and congratulations! Event completed.
Rewards
The only reward from this quest is Give Thanks emote (if you haven’t unlocked it before)

what the heck it just gives the thanks emot lamfo thats jack theve cranked out so much this year and they cant even come up with something original

Now THIS is the 2009 Event, Clues……
Day 1 Clue – Thursday
1) First I went to the Runescape Homepage
2) Then in the News Announcement click on the Thanksgiving Turkeys and Community Event announcement where it says “read more”
3) Then where it says Cryptic Clue Fest that is a hyperlink click on it to go to the clues page
4) On the clues page it has a long essay about the sage. It starts by saying he found a manuscript on the floor of the Lumbridge Castle.
5) This Manuscript is a clue. It must be used to complete the days Clue Event. I will post a picture of it…..

6) The clue includes a “puzzle-grid” which allows you to find which Items are the code items to allow you to speak to the special people. I solved this grid puzzle for you, see the pictures below…………

7) So, we know then that the 3 “code Items” are….rope, bucket, and banana. We also know that we must have a certain number of each item! No more, no less, so that the Secret Clue contact in Runescape knows we are genuine. We also know from the Manuscript clue that the person is a beggar in Lumbridge.
9) Lachtopher recognizes you, and tells you to watch the Runescape Newsletters/ Announcements for the Three code items for tommorow, AND that the secret contact for tommorow is…………..

10) The Clues search/quest is over for today. This is to be continued tommorow, and will be ended on Sunday and you’ll get your reward then.
Day 2 Clue – Friday – to be announced on Friday
Day 3 Clue – Saturday – to be announced on Saturday
Day 4 Clue – Sunday – to be announced on Sunday
Friday’s clue is out now.
The clue is hidden in the post, you just need to highlight it all to see it (Ctrl + A).
The items are: 2 buckets of milk, 7 fish bait, 227 gold pieces and 4 hammers.
Thursday’s clue told you to go to the server of drinks on border of the lawless lands (Bartender in Pub north of Varrock).
Saturday’s person is the gemstore owner in Falador.

For November 28, at 15:45 till November 29, 12:00 use 200gp, 6 red spider aggs, and 3 jugs of watter.
You need to talk to Herquin in north-west Falador (Falador Gem Shop)

I think day 4 guy is in al kahrid under the dice symbol on the world map
Aye its the guy.
He lives in Al Kahrid.
He works in the game shop.
(He provides things that organizes things for your friends fun and laughs)
give him 3 nets 10 air runes and 7 cabbages
guys has anyone figured out the final set of clues?? i think its 5 red beads 1 rope 1 starting horn??? anyone know?
Final person is “Roddeck” in lumby in building right of the genral store, items needed ” 3 eggs, 8 chisels,234 coins”
Reward is a magnifrying glass…???? No emote ?????
