RuneScape

So you decided to create a Runescape account and you are wondering what is available to you. I will explain what you can do and some tips on how to help you on your journey to become one of millions who play this game daily.

What can you do when you start you say. Well as soon as you create an account and the game loads up, you are thrown into the evergrowing world and begin your own adventure!

When you first start Runescape, you are given the option of being a Male or Female and the choice of different appearances. You can choose to have scruffy clothes or a better looking character but this doesn’t matter much as you will find out along your journey.

So you created your character and are wondering what to do next. You are then made to complete a tutorial which takes 20 minutes minimum depending whether you want to hone your skills and maximize your levels. At this point, it is possible to get most of your levels up to level 3 which is the maximum you can get during the tutorial.

During the tutorial, you learn how to mine ores from rocks, smelt the ores together to produce bars, then use the bars to smith a weapon and armor. You also learn how to cut trees, use a tinderbox with the logs and make a fire, you learn how to attack a monster using the weapon you just smithed and learn how to use ranged attacks to kill monsters from further distances where you can’t get attacked yourself. You learn many other skills during the tutorial but I will go into more detail a bit later on with them.

After the tutorial, You get thrown into the deep end with a small amount of money and a handful of useful items. I suggest you bank them so that if you die whilst trying to train your skills you do not lose them. When you decide to start the next part of your journey, please read on.

When you think you are ready to continue, there are many things running through your mind which are most probably: Where do I go? What is there to do? How do these skills help me?

I will explain these questions one by one to help you continue with the fun.

At this point in the game, you can just roam around the world and find your way around and find what there is to do with what you have.. or you can choose to train a certain skill to earn you money!

That is the main reason people play this game. It is because you can earn in-game money to get better armor/weapons and the money that you earn will be needed to help train your other skills.

As you progress with your skills, Quests open up which demand certain things to be completed, Here is an example.

That is one of many free quests, There are at least 60 members only quests.

There are websites which help you through the quests called guides. These can be found in a second or so at the end of this article.
