RuneScape 99 Woodcutting Guide

You may have asked yourself, why would anyone choose woodcut as a 99 skill, around all day and cut trees. Woodcutting is a very good skill that doesnt costs you very little, also without woodcutting skills like fletching and firemaking would be impossible.

Levels 1-21

First, you get and iron and steel axe and start out with iron and then switch to steel at level 6. Cut regular trees, since this process is so short i would just cut on the trees around the grand exchange in varrock. you also may ask, why not cut oaks, i personally get more xp from cutting regular logs at this level.

Levels 21-41

Get mithril,adamanant, and a rune axe. Then go to draynor, once your at draynor go to the oak tree behind the bank and cut there till 31 where you would use adamanant axe instead of your mithril axe. Keep  cutting oaks till 41 since willows are to slow until you can wield a rune axe.

Levels 41-70

You cut willows in front of the barbarian outpost while using your rune hatchet. At level 61 it is recomended to buy a dragon axe since it cuts about 10% faster than a rune axe.

Now you can either go 2 ways- moneymaking or fastest xp. I will include both. I personally did a little of each.

Moneymaking

Levels 70-90

You will be cutting yews at the gnome stronghold, this place has 3 yews and one magic tree all in one spot, and even a farming patch. They will be slow a first but they will get faster, yews are around 450gp each and are very popular so this place can get crowded at times.

Levels 90-99

You will be cutting the mage trees at the gnome stronghold. This will be very slow and alot of people just stick with yews but these are profitable, at 1000gp you can make alot of money off these.

Fast XP

Levels 70-99

You will be cutting in front of barbaria outpost for these levels, at the end if you kept all your willow logs you will have over 130k of them.

Tips

1. Do evil trees if you get bored
2. Try to make money while wc but also get fast xp at willows
3. try and watch a movie while wcing
4. dont use macroes because you will get banned 100% of the time and it is unfair for people who actually earned their skillcape

one you get 99 wear your skillcape with pride but dont call people noobs who are lower wc level than you, you were their level at some time or another.
