How to find out if you are addicted to runescape.
Runescape addiction is a big problem with some people. These people are normally children or teenagers between the ages of 10-18 but some times people older will get addicted too. I have heard stories of children that won’t even move from the computer and yell at their parents because they want to play runescape. It makes you wonder, at the moment on high scores 25 people have over 1 billion total experience that is a lot! The guy at the top Gertjaars has almost 2 billion total experience this makes you wonder how many hours a day do these people play for it makes you feel sorry for them being that addicted to the game.
Although he is top at the moment and only 25 people are over 1 billion total experience there will be many more i am sure that do the same.
Now i suppose if you are high level and have alot of total experience but have played for 9 years or for a long amount of time this wouldn’t be as bad as you wouldn’t be playing long hours at a time just playing maybe 1-2 hours on average each day. This is still alot but atleast your playing it more for fun than because your addicted and you can say “no” to playing runescape and go for a walk or do some studying etc. It’s the people who play runescape for 5+ hours every day that need to realize that runescape is just a game and they need to get back to real life.
Ok now signs that you are addicted to runescape.
You play for long hours on a regular basis
You don’t get out of the house to go with your family
You’d rather play runescape than go to your mates place
You are failing school because you are playing runescape too much.
You have no friends because you are always playing runescape and don’t socialise
You aren’t having fun unless your on runescape
You can’t go a week with out playing runescpe
If you have any of these signs and don’t want to become addicted then i suggested that either quit while you can or ease of how much you play.

I play it for 20 minutes a day. And i can quit when i want to. So i’m not addicted.
Ah, the only sign that matched me is the last one : “can’t go a week without playing”. I would rate my addiction 4 out of 10.
You’re right, there are several people who become a loser because they don’t think Runescape as a game anymore. They think they’re living in Runescape and even when they’re bored with it, they still play it.
