RuneScape: Black Demon Cannon Slaying Guide

Black Demon: Level 172, Maximum Hit: 16

STARTING OUT:

You will need armor with high melee defense such as dragon or barrows because they use a strong melee type attack. Bring an Abyssal  whip or a Dragon scimitar along with a Rune defender for strong accurate attacks. Bring food such as Sharks or better becuase they are very accurate and hit very hard, up yo 16 damage. Bring many runes for High Alchemy spells becuase they drop a lot of steel, mithril and black armor and weapons which can result in a good profit. Take a Dwarf cannon after doing the quest for it and bring 2,000 Cannonballs along with it. Bring an Anti-dragon shield to protect from Red Dragons on the way there. Summoning familiars and Prayer potions mays also be used.

GETTING THERE:

Go to Port Sarim and take the boat to Musa Point for 30 Coins and go West until you reach a gate to Brimhaven at which you follow the path to the dungeon entrance. When there pay the guard, Saniboch 875 Coins to enter then make your way to the Black Demons. You may want to run, it is a bit dangerous in the dungeon with a lot of high leveled monsters.

ONCE THERE:

Set up your cannon and hide between the section near metal dragons to hit many demons at once or pray and kill one at a time very fast, my preferable method, as I can easily reload and see the drops which are great. Even though they drop many sets of small amounts of Coins, when you do get a good drop, it is something good like a Half-key or a rune item. They also drop Level 3 Clue scrolls. It is relatively good money there.
