RuneScape Botting: Good or Bad

Hey there again people.

The other day i went lesser demon hunting at Karamja.
Was quite an empty place until 15 minutes into my hunt this lvl 89 Ranger came around.
He just went to a corner and kept on killing these demons at such a rate i was shocked!!!

Hell, i tried to make some conversation with him regarding his ranging level and everything but he just ignored me like i wasn’t there. Finally like 2 hours later he replies that his range level is 93, and i was like what the hell were you doing till now??

And then he explains to me about botting and everything. I had heard of botting in non-combat skills but botting on lessor demons is dangerous, but this guy, name withheld for obvious reason was pretty cool, said he made the script himself and everything and told me about different bots- namely rsbot, ibot and aryan.

According to him, botting is the best thing for runescapers, he’s never been banned, but i know a friend who botted for like just 30 minutes and got his account banned.

so what say you people?? do you’ll think botting is good and helpful to the game?
Or is it bad and kind of spoils the objective of runescape?
