RuneScape Bounty Hunter returns in the Crucible!
6/19/12 Jagex made an update to bring back Bounty Hunters in RuneScape, only in a different form. Introducing the Crucible!
The Crucible is located in north Edgeville, right below the Wilderness border. Players may enter on a Member’s or Free server. Once inside you will be guided through a tutorial in which you learn just what the crucible is like. Basically, it’s Bounty Hunter, just worse.
Many players now criticize the update, and wish for the old Bounty Hunter back, but as we all know Jagex is a company of asses, but let’s move on.
The Crucible is a large place players can engage in 1v1 combat for each other’s items. Players are assigned targets for extra prizes (bounty) for killing.
Beware as the Crucible is a dangerous area, and do not risk a lot.
