Runescape: Fastest Way to Train Fishing
This is a guide to training your fishing leval in runescape.
To get stated you will first need to get a small fishnet. You can buy one from the port sarim fishing shop for a measly 5gp.
The only thing you can fish when you start will be shrimp. Go to draynor village and south of the bank is a nice little fishing spot for beginners. Use your net on the water where there are little bubbles that show. When you have filled your inventory put your shrimp into the bank also. There also are plenty of trees for fire wood to cook your fish on. When you have reached level 15 you can also catch sardines with your small net.
When you have become a level 5 fisherman head back to port sarim to but a fishing rod and some bait. The rod is 5 gp and bait about 3 gp per bait. Make sure it is a FISHING ROD, NOTa fly fishing rod. now go back to draynor to your fishing spot and use your new pole and bait on the spot. You can catch sardines and herring with this pole.
Once you have reached around level 25 go to port sarim (once again) and buy a Fly fishing rod. Instead of bait this fishing pole uses feathers to get feathers you can buy them from the grand excahnge/friends or you can go to a little farm with chickens by lumbridge. Now go up to Varrock and right outside I think the east side is barbarian village. In the middle of this places is some fishing spots use your rod and feathers to catch trout and salmon. Take your game back to either the bank in Varrock or Edgeville.
Now once you have reached about level 50 get a lobster pot from port sarim or the grand exchange(since you are closer). Bring about 1000 if you have it. But only since works for one trip. Now go to port sarim. Use one of the boats to go to karamja. There are some fishing docks in the south west(if west is to the right). This place is sometime packed but is the only place where free players can go to catch lobsters or sword fish. When inventory is full take a boat back to port sarim and put your catch in the bank is draynor.
Once you have become a level 60 fisherman go get a harpoon. You already know where to get one. And once again some money to use the boat in port sarim. Go back to the same docks in karajma. You now will catch swordfish with the harpoon. Do this untill you are level 99.
