Runescape fighting guide
Follow the steps I used to level. Really helpful If you want level 100+ combat.
(combat) Levels 3-15:
To get started, sell everything gotten from tutorial island, they’re peices of crap. Buy Iron weapons and a longsword, if more money is required mine, it makes money quickly. Near Lumbridge (where you start out) there is a lot of giant rats and trees. take an axe and tinderbox along with your weapons and armour there and begin murdering giant rats (wow that sounds wierd) and picking up thier bones and meat (even wierder). Cook the meat to replenish your health and bury the bones for prayer. First train your Attack, then defence, then strength. Congrats, it’s time to move on.
Levels 16- 25:
In Al karihd (sorry if I just killed the spelling) there is a palace thing (I know thats a bad description, but its impossible to miss) where there are level 9 Al-Karihd warriors. The reason I like this place is that the warriors Will yell “brother, I will help thee with this infidel” and attack you if you attack one of them. Translation: “Dude, lets kill the *****.” This is helpful, because you can attack one and then sit back and watch while your person levels himself. I mean, you wouldn’t want to make your finger muscles tired, would you? again: attack, defence, strength. Unfortunately, You can’t cook human meat to eat (ummm, yeah.) so you may need to leave to heal yourself every once in a while.
Levels 26-35:
A good idea now is to start the Dragon slayer quest. No nooby level 26 is gonna kill a dragon, but you can get other benefits from it. Right now, talk to Oziach and get the melzar’s maze key. Melzar’s maze is by rimmington, and has many monsters to fight. Once again, bring a tinderbox and axe. To start, kill giant rats untill they drop a red key. Open the door with it and climb up the ladder. Here kill ghosts to level, or go up once more to train on skeletons. Run downstairs once you are low on hp to kill giant rats for food. Then repeat. Oh yeah, and A, then D, then S.
Levels 36-80:
Now get a brass key from the edgeville sewers or dungeon or whatever the heck you call it and start fighting Hill Giants (level 28). These are good because they have low defence and high hp, so you can do killer damag, dude, and thus level up quicker. They also drop big bones, providing 100 gp ea, or quite a bit of prayer xp. Because of this, there is a lot of competition for them. Choose one or two to stick with and don’t move alot when one respawns, stay just out of it’s reach so that it attacks someone else, then before they can attack it back, jump in and steal it, You dirty little sneak. You can get two to three hits on it before it scores one on you this way, plus the other person keeps getting hit. Teaches them not to try and steal your giants. If you are injured, go up the ladder and out the door, south to the path, east through barbarian village, then north to the monastary. Talk to monks and make them heal you till your fully healed. Then same insructions back, in reverse. oh yeah, A.D.S.
Levels 51-80:
While you were murderin giants, you probably noticed some of them dropping limpwurt roots. If you didn’t, you’re a moron. Any way, keep any of these you get, because now we’re killin Deadly red spiders. They’re in the varrock sewers, really far in. Once you get to the web, right click and choose slash. Then kill red spiders. Here you can team up on them and two or more people can attack one of them, but the same goes for the spiders attacking you. anyway, Sometimes you’ll get deadly red spider eggs (what an original name). These are really why you want to be here. Go to the Apothecary with these and limpwurt roots, and 3 coins pre pair, to make strength potions. Sell these for 1k+ ea. And, Need I say it? ADS.
Levels 81-Whatever:
Now it’s time to hunt bigger game. Deemons. Scary. Whatever. Anyway, grab silverlight, dust it off a bit, and head off to Crandor Island (PLEASE say you’ve completed dragon slayer by now). Anyway, I killed one of these at level 43, without even using silverlight, So You should have no problem. Anyway, kill lesser deemons for a while, then go to level 42-48 wildy and kill Greater deemons. Thet’re pretty much lessers with wings. NO biggie.

great guide, and i like how u put commentary in it, but i think u should take out the “kill lesser demons at lvl 40″ u wanna know y? because noobs believe it!
hell ye noobs r such sukers i mean they cant kill lesser demons. lvl 50-70 should kill lesser demons:D

this guide rocks! i killed my first lesser demon at lvl 45, but yeah he recommends higher lvl to do it. u could kill one at lvl 30 if u have a hally and some lobby
I was killing red spiders and lessers at lvl 36 with swordies and tuna. Do it on the karajam island u catch, cook, fight, repeat EASY! for limpwurt roots kill hobgoblins, their easy to kill at lvl 35 and above with food, ok drops plus the odd weapon and law runes! plus lots of limpwurt roots thanks for the guide though dude! im gna go kill some hill giants now
I killed my first lesser demon at lvl 49 and I didnt even eat any food. So yes, it is possible. I still haven’t beaten drag slayer tho, because elvarg toasted me like a marshmallow before I even inflicated damage (and I was lvl 53 first time he did that) so I still have to train some more…
So paladin54 did you use you’re dragons anti shield? Cause lv 50+ should be able to do it. O and bring lobs-lobsters.If you’re afraid bring a friend with you to trade food just in case you run out. O and Elvarg always has the same health like i hit a 10 on him it’ll have the same health.

wow u idiot u cant kill greater or even lesser demons at lv 43 and silverlight dosent help when killing demons i take 23 max out of greater with silverlight and 28s with my whip
ok this is not bad. i killed my first lesser at lvl 3 with no food so u guys are a oober noobs. i have like 74294829849232bil and i could own all of u noobs. my max hit is 495783848738 so u can eat that! my max hit at lvl 3 was even 56 so die noobs.

silverlight is ok if u are poor, but, like i have a whip, and it hits like hell. you should add stuff like that
kill chose drueds and sell the herbs (only for mems)
To me I am lvl 63 and i did dragon slayer lvl 34, if u want money kill red drags they drop red d hide and drag bones sell both for 3k each. if u kill 1 million u get 6 mil.Btw u cant telleport out.
