RuneScape Grand Exchange Guide for Non-members

OK, so you want the most out of the Grand Exchange.

The Grand Exchange is actually pretty simple. If you need any help, there is a guy standing in front of the Grand Exchange, looking like a clown and blowing a horn. Ask him. The Grand Exchange is where you buy and sell items to other players across Runescape. Non-members can only have 2 offers going on at a time. Right click a GE clerk and press exchange to get to that menu. Click sell or buy to do the appropriate thing.

To sell, click the sell button. Click an item in your inventory to sell. Select the price (within range), amount, and etc. then press the sell button, and the offer will go through. If someone is willing to meet your requirements, the item(s) will be sold and you will get money. If not, then the items will stay on the market until someone buys it.

To buy, click the buy button. Type in an item, and click on the right one. Select the same stuff as selling, and make sure you have enough money. The offer will go through, and if someone has the items for the right price, you’ll get the items and they’ll get the money. If not, then the offer keeps on going.

Sets:

Sets are where you trade specific amounts of items and values for a set of those items. An example would be when you trade in an iron full helm, an iron platebody, an iron platelegs, and and iron kiteshield for an iron armor set (l). The l is for legs, or platelegs. sk is for plateskirt, though the other items are the same. Just right click on the GE teller and select sets. right click on sets from your inventory or sets from the list and click exchange to get the specific item or set. Sets are useful for selling big amounts of a kind or armor, or just to save bank space.

History:

Right click on the GE teller and select history. This shows your recent offers in the GE and their details. Pretty useful and simple.
