Runescape Guide: Combat Level 3-85 Guide for Noobs
Are you a low level? Want to get higher levels quickly?
Welcome to the RuneScape Combat guide for Noobs! This teaches you to level your combat level from level 3 – 85. This guide will include pictures. This guide is for both Free to Play and Pay to Play. Lets continue.
For Levels 3 – 10: Killing Goblins
If you just started and don’t know where goblins are here is a map:
The red circles are where the goblins are in Lumbridge.
Requirements to kill Goblins: None!
Recommended: A weapon
Kill goblins until you have level 10 combat.

For Levels 10 – 20: Killing Cows
The cows are very close to the goblins in Lumbridge so you shouldn’t need a map to show you where it is. If you have just started RuneScape, killing cows will be your way of making money too.

Cowhides sell for 100gp each in the Grand Exchange.
If you have low HP, use the beef and cook it for food.
Requirements: Nothing
Recommended: A weapon and some armour
Kill cows until you hit 20 combat and proceed to the next part of the guide.
For Levels 20 – 45: Barbarian Village
Barbarian Village is a good place to train for low levels. There is meat in the bar so you can heal yourself and also there’s a fishing spot and a fire to cook your fish if you want to go fishing for food.

Requirements: None
Recommended: Armour and a weapon
Kill barbarians until you reach 45 combat level.
For levels 45 – 50: Hill Giants
If you are a non member this is what you should train on. Hill giants drop Big Bones which you can sell or bury them. You need a Brass Key to get to the Hill Giants.
Big Bones cost 400gp each.

Requirements: A brass key(or you can go to Edgeville and take the long way there)
Recommended: Mithril armour or better, Mithril weapon or better
When you get to level 50 combat then go to the Falador Knights.
For Levels 50 – 65: Falador Knights
By now you should know where Falador is. The knights are only level 36 so this will be easy.
Requirements: None
Recommended: Adamant Weapon or better, Adamant Armour or better

When you are level 65 get ready to kill Lesser Demons or Ankous
For levels 65 – 85: Ankous/Lesser Demon
Congratulations! Your level 65! Now choose: Lesser Demons… or Ankous?
Requirments(Ankous): Able to reach level 4 of Stronghold of Security
Requirments(Lesser Demons): None
Recommended(Ankous): You should be P2P, Full Rune Armour or better, Rune Weapon or better
Recommended(Lesser Demons): SilverLight(or Rune weapon), Rune armour, completed Dragon Slayer
