Runescape: Guide to 99 Woodcutting

The trees scattered all around the world of Runescape are all evidence of woodcutting, one of the most well-recognized skills. To level up in woodcutting you simply need an ax and to start cutting trees for their logs. These logs in turn can be used to level up fire making, and even fletching for members. But how many logs would you need to cut to get to the highest level of 99.

I decided that I would find out and write this “guide” to share the information. Since this is a “guide” I should however give some advice on how to level up to 99. I can not say that I have the experience of going up to level 99, but getting past level 60 has shown me a few bets of information.

The first thing is that you shouldn’t start cutting new trees as soon as you can cut them, wait a while(5,10, or more levels) and then start, as it is more efficient. Second if you are cutting and banking your logs try to save your logs and sell them in bulk. And third if you are lighting your logs try to find a serene place with no one else, bring your tinderbox, and burn them after a full load. With a minimum of 77,170 logs you’ll be at level 99 woodcutting, good luck!
