RuneScape: How to Get Strange Rocks Fast!

Firstly let’s start with cooking. I advise buying about 10k salmon or even up to 50k. Cooking salmon inside the cooking guild or rouges den should be fast! (guild is advised if possible).

Mining, if you can, get some Shipment scrolls (94 summon) and mine rune essence, you usually have both before 5 inventories. If you haven’t got a titan, still do rune essence.

Fletching; Teak crossbow stocks work pretty fast in my experience, and at 66 gp per log is very cost effective. Again buy a nice amount, 10k-50k is possible. Also teak works great for firemaking too so keep the teaks in your bank!

Construction, as I have 99 construction I have access to anything in a POH, but I advise making tabs or training on your alter. Do something constructive while getting construction rock, So keep a large amount of law runes and soft clay in your bank If it comes to it, even alch in your POH.

Smithing. I advise getting a load of gold ore honestly, it’s fast and very nice exp with gold gauntlets and at the edgeville bank and furnace is nice and fast. Why gold ore? Well we will use this for crafting too. Making gold bracelets can double your profit from just selling the gold bars, and you get two sets of rocks, NICE totally worth the cost of ores in my opinion.

Being 82 runecrafting is AWESOME for runecrafting rocks but not everyone is. So I advise using ZMI, Bloods or Laws. Why laws? Because laws will help with your construction rocks! ZMI is very fast for rocks it seems.

Agility, I’m 99 agility so I can use any course, and Gnome Advanced is very easy for rocks, but not everyone is 85+, so I advise using the wilderness course or whichever you can access if not wilderness.

Herblore, you can get herb rocks using Overloads fairly easily it seems. But not everyone is 96, so clean herbs, make restore potions, or if you have some time, go buy some herb gloves from FOG and kill some aberrant specters for a while, and get your potion stock back up.

Hunter, honestly do GREY Chinchompas, I’m 99 hunter and this method seems easily the best, usually get both rocks before I hit 150 grey chins.

Thieving is easy! Get your gloves of silence + Ardougne cape and go get master farmers, should take less than 15 minutes.

As for fishing, go fish monkfish. I’ve never gotten both rocks in anything less than half an inventory.

Woodcutting. Either go ivy, or my personal favorite, go to hardwood area with about 100k+ trading sticks (using the native to bank) and cut yews to keep using for your other rocks. Shouldn’t take long using either method.

Finally, farming. It’s not about what you use it’s about how much. Go plant potatoes or cabbages, then limpwurt in the flower patch, with something nice like Toadflax, Snapdragon or higher to get you a bit of cash back.
