RuneScape, In my Opinion

RuneScape has been ruined. Do you agree?

I think that Runescape used to be one of the greatest games ever created. Great idea, great concept, and overall you could interact with other players across the world.

I remember, way back before the skills summoning, construction, and hunting didn’t exist (And by the way, what’s next? Astronomy?). Runescape was great back then.

But now, this is what I think of it: It has been ruined.

Not only do I see it in this way but many others do as well. Mainly because PKing (Player-killing) has been removed. Many now refer to Runescape as Ruinscape and most people (I know) have quit. Jagex lost a big portion of their population doing this.

The next thing that turned people off was the trade limit. You are not allowed to trade farther than a 3K (3,000 Gold) limit. Which sucks.

Overall, Runescape is not as good as it once was.

Does anyone agree?

Well, I have never played RS, never wanted to pay anyone aanything, but I know alot about it and have played games similar to it and it sounds like it has really degraded.

I don’t really agree, Runescape is still an OK game.
Well, for not PK-ers nothing really changed, some are even glad that the wilderniss isn’t that dangerous anymore.
And they added other things for PK-ers (several minigames), there are even PK worlds, where the entire world is a PK area.
There were reasons for the trade limit, and the removal of the wilderness, and Jagex staff explained the reasons

I agree that the game isn’t completely ruined except it is just no as fun as it once was. Although it is still a good game.

indeed they have killed the game. it is because they are exercising too much control over the players
