RuneScape: Investing Money
In RuneScape there are a lot of ways to be rich. I am going to write about Kingdom Management, Grand Exchange Merchanting and clans, minigames, and finally skill-based jobs.
The first million.
At RuneScape you start the game with 25 coins on free-to-play servers. There will be tools on your bank account. Walk to a nearby bank, usually the closest is Lumbridge or Draynor if you didn’t explore Gielinor yet. Talk to a banker and withdraw the 25 coins.
0-10,000 gold pieces
I recommend dancing for money, but if you would like a honest job, kill chickens at any farm around Lumbridge. The feathers you have to pick up you can store in one slot; they worth about 10 coins each. Each chicken drops 0, 5, or 15 of these feathers. You should pick their bones too, which worth 86 gold each. Go to Grand Exchange. You can find GE in North-Varrock. Learn the basics from the jester. He’s going to help you how to sell items via the Grand Exchange. If you learned the basics you can sell your feathers and bones. A full invertory of bones worth 2400 gold pieces. This means only a half hour needed to make your first 10K.
10,000-50,000 gold pieces
You can follow the instructions written in the 0-10K section, but I can say faster methods. Especially mining iron. Only level 15 mining needed to mine this ore and they worth nowadays 180 coins each. Mining a full inventory iron takes less than 1 minute for experienced miners, but it will take up to 5 minutes for low-level ones. Multiply the price with 28 and receive that big number of money you can get by mining.
50,000-100,000 gold pieces
Mine coal in Mining guild. Level 60 is a requirement to climb down the ladders. If you meet, start this method, you will be able to make about 100K per hour.
100,000-1,000,000 gold pieces
Reaching 1 million gold pieces is even a big milestone in your life. As F2P player you can do this by:
-Great Orb Project > Buying Rune Essence
-Cutting yews at Edgeville or near Grand Exchange
-Player killing is a dangerous but effective way to get money, especially doing 25K trick. You should risk 25k and your target too. You kill target, then in next turn your recent target kills you while you are risking the money. With this nice drops could be generated such as Guthixian brazier. In members you have to risk at least 75K.
Turn 1 million to 10, 20 or much more!
- Merchanting: Do this with big clan and always but mostly traded items. If your clan buys altogether 10 billion needles, you couldn’t sell them in the next 10 years. You will be lucky if mobilishing armies accepts needle as commodity.
- My favorite way: Kingdom Management. If you completed Royal Trouble you can work on resources with 15 workers. Fishing, Herblore, Farming resources are the best way to increase your bux. At least 750K needed to earn a lot of resources. Farming seeds could give 250K per day if you work on it with 10 workers. You have 5 workers remaining, let them work on Herblore or Fishing. Herblore +75K; Fishing +80K. Every day your the amount of money you invested will be reduced with 75K.
