Possible uses:

1. Player killing: Its speed and accuracy makes it great for some player killing. It can strike fast enough to wipe them out before they eat.

2. Special attack: It does have a special attack which if hits over a zero will stop the player from using protection prayers. This can be useful seeing as it only takes up about half of the special bar leaving room for a dragon dagger special. Also the special is slightly more accurate

3. Training: It is very effective when training, it is very fast(as I said before) and will hit very high(according to your strength lvl and strength bonus)
