RuneScape : Items : 10th Anniversary Items… a Secret Within Them
Can 10th Anniversary Items become non-tradeable “rares”, like Bunny Ears, Scythes, Holiday Event Items, etc?
In the beginning of 2011, These 10Th Anniversary candles and cakes were released to celebrate the 10Th birthday of the record-breaking MMO. These are limited edition items. It is claimed by the staff, that after the event is over, they would take away all the candles, cakes and unlit cakes, leaving only the lit cakes. This will mean that these will become non-trade-able “rares”. Many players inexperienced, as well as experienced, do not think about this matter. Bunny ears and Scythes show that a player has been playing for a long time and are amazed at the fact that they have such rare items. Players will get banned, quit and will drop the lit cakes which would leave only very few people in possession 10Th Anniversary items, this is the same thing that happened to the party hats, Halloween masks, Santa hats, etc. So, if you want people to be amazed in the future about your 10Th Anniversary items, you’d better keep them or they would end up as rare as Bunny Ears and Scythes.
To obtain a lit 10th Anniversary cake, use 10 candles with a bare 10th Anniversary cake and then light the candles on top of the cake using a tinderbox which can easily be bought for a cheap price from any general store.
