RuneScape – Kalphite Queen

One of the strongest bosses in the game is Kalphite Queen. She uses prayer and summons other kalphites to attack you! She is very tough and lots of people struggle to kill her. I’m going to tell you what you need to do to kill her!

Kalphite queen is a great boss to kill for noobs. She drops items that sell for a lot of cash (dragon chainbody and dragon twohander are the most expensive). She is though pretty difficult using prayer and having 2 forms!

Her first form uses mage and range prayer and the second form uses protect from melee. Unlike player prayer protections, hers will block ALL attacks! Because of this, most players use Veracs or take 2 trips.

Quest Requirements

• Fairytale Part 2 (only need to be able to use fairy rings)
• Wolf Whistle
• Rum Deal

Skill Requirements (minimum)

• 70 Attack
• 70 Strength
• 70 Defence
• 52 Summoning (higher the better)
• 70 range (if taking 2 trips)

Armour for 1 Trip

Inventory for 1 Trip

• Dramen staff/Lunar staff     
• Dragon Dagger (p++)
• 2 Ropes    
  
• Anti-poison potion (4) (super would be better)   
• Super set (4) (super attack potion, super strength potion and super defence potion)    
• 4 Prayer potions (4)
• Holy Wrench
• House Teleport
• High level food (sharks or better)

Notes

Going with multiple people will be easier as you can save more food. You can also use less rope each trip. Use a Spirit Terrorbird/War Tortoise/Pack Yak for more food. When you pick up the items, use the house teleport. Use protect magic as you will be wearing armour vulnerable to magic. Before you enter the cave, drink you super set and anti-poison. Verac armour is great as it is able to hit through prayer! When you see her, use the dragon dagger (p++). This will help as you will do more damage. If you are using a spirit terrorbird, you may want the think about bringing Tireless run scrolls (about 10). This will make you trip to the queens cave faster.

• High level food (sharks or higher)

Notes

When doing this, use BoBs (as stated earlier). Do everything I said before except don’t use the super attack and strength potions when ranging. Use protect magic for the first trip and protect range on the second trip. Using safe spots on the second trip is very useful! (Don’t attempt to attack her with range where she can melee you).
