RuneScape: Making Friends Cleverly – Part 1

Want to know how to attract friends and reject people you dont like in runescape? In this article, discussion will be about what type of people are good friends and what are not a good choice for your situation. By making the right friends you will be able to power yourelf through runescape with their help and…

Making

For quest help you need to make friends with players who are a higher level than you. It might be tempting to lie to impress them, but you don’t have to. Just be cool and talk about life outside of runescape. However don’t be too personal. By not talking about runescape, you are avoiding your weaknesses in comparison to the higher lvl player. Talk with them fluently and try to sound mature and down-to-earth.

When they seem to be talking to you easily, then put yourself down. But only do this slightly, as you dont want to make yourself look like a wimp. Just crack a joke like “I will take you on in the duel arena,” immediately followed by “joking.. i will get owned”. Something along these lines would be a good idea. They will probably say “lol” or even defend you.

After this pretend that you have to leave and with a casual walkway, just say “add me”. DOn’t force them to be your friend though as they will probably find it annoying. After you have walked away just hope that they add you. It really depends on your luck.

If the player you are talking to is rude, then dont even bother making friends with them. Only make friends with those who respect you – an ethical thing.

Assists:

With assists you can ask any player for their help as it wouldnt be a bother to them. But at first, just talk to yourself! Just whinge about how you can’t do something because you are not a high enough level. THen ask the player for help. Getting assits is pretty easy. However some players can be a bee (too busy) and not want to help you.

Clan Wars:

Getting people to join your clan can be difficult. I will be writing another aticle on how to attract people to your clan soon. But before that, you should be told of what kind of players should be in your clan. The range is 10 lvls higher orĀ 10 lvls lower than ur cb lvl. That’s what you want in your clan. Otherwise during the war, it’s likely to corrupt with a fight between the higher lvls and your lower levels. Therefore your clan will be entirely destroyed and it would not be easy to restart it.

Making youself popular and then making friends:

The easiest way to become popular is to be rich. To show others that you are rich wear fancy clothes that are expensive or simply fancy clothes to attract attention. When you do get people talking to you get them to join your clan or add you and they most likely will.

Ignore those people who make nasty comments at your fancy clothes. (e.g. plateskirts on a male character) The plateskirt idea is a bit weird, but it will definitely attract attention.

Another way to be popular is to be really good at something: e.g. an impressive miner, impressive at a mini-game or even a member with magnificent clothes on a free world.

Making yourself popular helps you to express yourself and invites people to talk to you. Out of those who talk to you, you can select the ones who will suit you for each of the purposes discussed above. But remember, don’t try to make your frienship forcefully – it will never succeed (both for you and your lost friend).

Hang in there. This is only a touch of what I have heard from high-lvl players on how to make friends. I will be writing part 2 for this article soon.

friends is a crucial step in advancing your way through runescape. Friends can help with various things: quests, assists, clan wars and even stick up for you. For each of these things you must be careful with who are your friends with.
