RuneScape Merchanting: The Basics
Have you ever wanted to have party hats? Billions of gold or full dragon armor? Have you ever been impressed by a player wearing an armadyl godsword? Have you wondered…how these people manage to make so much cash?
Well, for starters, they don’t woodcut or mine their way up to 100M. They use the method I’m about to tell you. It requires no skills at all, and takes only 10 minutes a day. You can be a level 3 with a Christmas cracker if you do it right. Now… the special way to make billions is called…Merchanting.
Yes, this may sound crazy, but even after the Grand Exchange update, it is still possible to Merchant. The best example of a Merchanting mastermind is Chessy018, currently the richest player in Runescape. In this guide, I will only give you the basics.
The Basic Concept
The basic concept of Merchanting is pretty simple. I’ll explain it in steps:
1. First you select an item (or buy the item selected by the clan if Merchanting with a group of people) and buy as many of it as you can. This will make the price rise as the demand increases.
2. Hold on to the item, until you (or the clan) think that the item’s price cannot be raised anymore.
3. Once decided, you dump the item, i.e. you sell all of it on the lowest or market price. The earlier you dump, the more you will gain.
That’s the basic concept. It is recommended you do this in a Merchanting clan such as hero merch or merch2rich, or if you are very rich (have about 200M). Remember, the more cash you invest, the more you will gain!
Those are the basics. I’m currently working on an advanced guide for experienced merchanters. I’ll give you guys the link as soon as I finish.
HOPE YOU LIKED IT!!!

Problem is, Merching carries a risk and if the price of the item you are buying dies you can lose all your money.
I hate it when Merchers screw around with prices…look at Water Runes for example…
yeah lol…i recomend hero_merch…although i have only merched once in my life
