Mining: If you need to make a living mining can be a great way to make it, first of all you need a mining level of at least 15 to do this. Falador is basically the mining capital of Runescape if you’re a non-member because It is right next to the Dwarf Mine. So you would start off by mining a bunch of iron at least 500 ores of it then start selling it for 50-100gp. This also works with coal but you can sell that for 100-200gp each. The reason coal is so valuable is because it is used for every metal after Bronze and Iron so Runescapers getting their Smithing level up will definitely need coal to make the precious metals they need to smith.

Smithing: If you have a pretty high Smithing level you can start selling better and better armor such as Steel, Mithril, and Adamantite.

Fishing: Most likely the best way to make a Runescape profit when you start fishing Trout and Salmon you can start selling it to people going out into the Wilderness that need food. If you get your fishing to level 40 you can start fishing and selling Lobster which is worth 200-250gp. This is great for the Runescaper saving up for that beautiful Rune armor he has seen people selling! Swordfish which can be fished up at the fishing level of 50 can be sold for 300-350gp.

Runecrafting: Runecrafting is great for the person becoming a mage or just the person looking make some runes and sell them. Its fairly simple to do just take a talisman and find the ruins and then crafting those babies eventually you will be able to get more than one rune from one rune essence. And you will get lots.

Cooking: Cooking basically goes hand in hand with Fishing because if you don’t have a high enough cooking level you can’t cook the lobsters and swordfish you need to sell. Unless you want to buy them for less and sell them for more.

Woodcutting: Woodcutting is a great skill to get up your Woodcutting level as well as your Fire making. You can get up your skill to cut different types of wood and sell the logs to people for a lot of money.

Tricking Newbs: Sometimes if you can get a newb dumb enough to believe you that you can help them into the wilderness and get them gold kill them when you get the chance its fun.
