Do not know of any ways to earn GPs? Now it is the chance to learn and apply!
This RuneScape Money-making guide will guide you to how can you earn money in the aspects of the game.
Some methods may be old to you, some methods you may have heard before. But let us see what are the methods.
These methods which I shown below may not be the best way, there are many methods which you can do to earn lots of GP.
1st Method: Combat
Recommended:
- lv55 Magic for High Level Alchemy
- Ability to kill at least a Lesser Demon
- Rune Armours and Rune Weapon equipped.
You need to be a high level to make sure fighting monsters can let you earn money. Many times we think that combat can be very boring. It can be made fun if you integrate it with money-making. I am a Level 87 warrior in RuneScape, I could earn about 50k per day from combat alone.
If you are a member, you can fight against stronger foes. One of the best money making monster is the dragons. Their dragon bones and the hide they drop can fetch reasonable amount.
2nd Method: Fishing and Cooking
Reconmmended
- lv40 fishing for catching lobsters.
- Ability to cook a lobster
A common money making skill. Food are easy to sell because when you PK, you need them. When you go hunting, you need them.
Selling fishes is very easy. Lookbelow if you do not know how much to sell your fish for.
Lobsters = 200 – 250 each
Swordfish = 250 – 300 each
Sharks = 800 – 1000 each
If you want to sell fishes, get a decent amount of them before selling. It would be good if you sell in bulks of 1000.
3rd Method: Mining
Recommended
- lv60 mining (Entry to Mining Guild)
Mining is another common money making skill. For Top Smithers to excel, they need to buy a lot of coals. From smithing steel to runite, coals are needed and the requirement of coals for smithing increase when they smith higher level metals.
Look below on what are ores recommended to sell:
- Iron Ore 80gp – 110gp each. (Many people train smithing by making steel plates)
- Coals 150gp – 200gp each. (As I mentioned, coals are important for high level smithers)
- Runite Ore 10k – 11.5k each. (If one day you reached 85 Mining, Rune ores will be good for you to mine and sell)
4th Method: Smithing (High Level alchemey involved)
Recommended:
- 1. Enough level to smith steel plates at least
Smithing is quite a uncommon money making method because it is time consuming to smith things and sell them.
Below are some ways to make money using smithing
lv48 – lv67 smithing
- Smith Steel Plates
- You will earn 1.2k per steel plate you alched
lv68 – lv87 smithing
- Smith Mithril Plates
- You will earn 3120gp per Mith Plate you alched
lv88 – lv99 smithing
- Smith Adamant Plates
- You will earn 7680gp per Adamant Plate you alched
4th Method: Woodcutting
Recommended:
- Ability to wield and use a rune axe
As woodcutting is quite linked to Fletching, the demands for woods will be there.
Below are some ways to make money using Woodcutting
- Regular Logs 40gp – 100gp each (Reason why it is expensive because it is vastly needed for making arrow shafts)
- Oak Logs 40gp – 45 gp each
- Willow Logs 25gp – 35gp each
- Magic Logs(MEMBERS) 1k – 1.2k each
5th Method: Merchanting
Recommended:
- Patience (Its not very easy to merchant things)
- Hardened Heart (Don’t be soft hearted to sell things at a low price and earn little profit)
Merchanting is the BEST method to make money. It is also known as Trading.
Merchanting simply means buying items at a low price and selling them at a high price. One of the best merchanting material are steel bars. They are a popular demand for smither, this involved you smelting the iron ores and coals though. By buying iron ores at 100gp each and coals at 150gp each.
Total Money spent on making a steel bar: 450gp
Total Money earned from selling a steel bar: 550gp – 620gp
If you buy 1000 iron ores and 2000 coals. you will spend 400k. By making 1000 steel bars, and selling them at 600gp each, you earn 600k. Total of profit is 200k. Try to cut down gold on buying iron ores and coals so that you can maximise your profit.

I believed that some of you here are from the Members Server. I am listing down money-making help for skills you can raise to earn money, if you are not patient enough, even any guide cannot help you. I am only listing down my own opinions, and PLEASE LIST DOWN WHY THE GUIDE ISNT GOOD AND NOT SITTING THERE AND FLAME ME.
The way to make gp in rs2 is to train your stats people. For example im lvl 74 woodcutting and can pretty easilly make 1m a day chopping yews. Thers your tip!!!!!!!!1

Im best friends with many rich people, they all fletch yew longs and sell. i just reached 70 fletch, lol, and im workin on it rite now, its easy, efficient, and a good money-maker. some of you are gonna say, but why do i need to get 60 wc and 70 fletch…. its worth it, just give it a lil effort and you’ll get there.

ok the best way to rich is pk.simple right, just make a pure mage, range, or fighter and pk its so simple i have a pure mage and 500k worth of items and 750k cash
this guide isn’t that good, there are many ways of getting money faster than the ways it tells u in this guide for example: u can do barrows, fish, mine, smith, make potions, woodcut, merchant and many other ways
Everyone can have, seriously stop trying to scam, you are probably a lvl 23 noob trying to find a easy fast way to get money because you are too lazy to make your own money. Freeker2 was only trying to help some of the lower lvled players by giving some advice they can use because they 1. Don’t have enough money to do some of the things suggested by posters or 2. Don’t have membership status. The first thing I would like to say is that it would help you very much if you became a member, there are so much more oportunities for making money in runescape. The main way to make money in free worlds is to cut yew trees but the bad thing is that there are many lvl 3 autoers (which u dont see in member worlds).
this guide isnt to good everything from most guides isnt good for impatient people. this helps if ur patient little goody, goody noobz. zezima should be behind me on this 1.
here is a good way to make money. Pick flax or mine pure ess they both go for about 100 ea. i perfer mining pure ess becasue then u dont have to click on the flax

Yeah so… this guide can be alright for startin out. But if your a member i highly suggest runecrafting… i make about 1k deaths or nats an hour when im being lazy.. lol so its not too hard… thats 300k+ an hour minimum… lets say i played 4 hrs a day every day not being lazy id make 5-6k natures or deaths… thats 1.5-1.8m a day… in three weeks that could add up to 31 mil or so. Keep that in mind.
or you guys could just cut magics and get a really high wc lvl … which does a lot of good for a lot of people

hey most things that people say are making $$$$$$ but the reason is they take days and days for the lvls as 4 me i lost my ddp in wildy but i picked flax and ime all good just 600 peces of flax gets u 60k take away the little 0 anyway so think if u get 100k flax u can get 10mil if u get 10k flax 1mil its simple may take few days but its more cash the better
I have a way of making 5m in about a week just get your flletching up to about 50so that you can make maple short bow(you need 45 wc) then sell them to people in seers bank for about 200-300gp ea think about it at the end of the day you will ahve about 2m. kingdano1 i have 7m with this methord
another way of making money, well i got hacked at 7m they gave the account back i cut mage log lvl (75)at least then sold in seers bank for 1k each how good is that hay lol bye…i have 3m…

well it all started when i seen someone with 23m i said how u get so much money they said save up i saved up i had 99fletching mad magic longbows sold 15k-20k i thought to my self wow i had 10m at the end of the day lol….bye =p…
for me this was average
a good way to make money is to get 15k feathers, 1k logs and 1k mith bars, ok so make those mith bars into arrowheads ( high smithing needed) and you end up with 15k mith heads. now put fletch those logs into arrow shafts and put on your feathers onto arrow shafts to make headless arrows. now clip them with arrow heads and you end up with 15k mith arrows, sell them to pkers and rangers and you end up with….900k! repeat this over and you end up with millions!
2nd you need 30 mining, mine coal and sell for 150-300ea
The guy who wrote this guide is just trying to help. I make my money by selling yews 300 each. It’s pretty good money. Also you can start by buying 1k coal for 200k and 500 iron 55k. Then make 500 steel bars and sell 620ea. That’s 325k in about a day if you aren’t distracted, like me
. Then buy 2k coal and 1k iron, same prices so on and so on. The only reason I don’t do this is because it is incredably boring, but if ur determined you can make millions!
If you guys dont try u never make money unless u cheat . i can make 10- 15 k pickin up what people leave lying around think for your selves.

members cn make cash by law running sll 300 ea make 3334 laws and u hve over 1M u could make that many laws in say 4 hours non stop
i make about 5-10mil in 2hrs. heres how. new rs updates(req assist) ask for 74 fishin from someone who is patient
or just fish em ure self. Go to cammy then catch 5k sharks and they sell for 1k-2kea. it takes me 1hr and 45mins to get 5k.
after u fish em’ go sell them and sooner or l8ter some 1 rich will buy em

Making money is easy (when your a member) and your defence and strength level 60, just go to wildy (wilderness) and be on a member world then kill green dragons east of bounty hunter (remember anti dragon sheild or they hit upto 50) pick up the hide and bones (dont bury bones or its 70% slower!) just keep storing them in bank and keep goign till you have 1000 hides and bones and you can sell for 3.5m-5m!!! and it only takes around 2 weeks at leevl 85!!!!! so…it’s 10m per month or 10 santa hats a year! whaddya reckon?

requirments:
combat lvl 50+ (makes killing faster)
ring of wealth
food if low lvl
best armour u can wear and a good weapon
now first go to edgeville, go south and climb down trap door.
next folow the path and go through the first and second set of gates when u turn left.
follow the path up from second set of gates and kill the chaos druids (lvl 13) until u have a full inevntory of ranarr.
keep doing this until u have 280 ranarr then sell on g.e lowest for 1m

This is very outdated, if anyone would like some updated tips, pm me in game. I only have 10m, which is considered poor nowadays, but I have good, worthwhile tips. If You Are A Member Just Go To Catherby Because The Bank And The Fishing Shop Are Next To Each Other, Buy… It’s Either Fly Fishing Rods Or Just Rods For 5GP Each Full Inventory = 140GP Sell Them Around 70Gp (Well That’s What It Used To Be, Dont Know If Changed) Sell Full Inventory (27 Rods Inven) = Around 1890Gp (1.89k) Banks Right Next To Shop So Fast! i agree with seversword1, you all have nooby ways of making money, and while that is OK for new players, the real money comes from GWD or Tormented Demons. (I know that most people don’t have these requirements, meaning that getting them is worth it!!) Face it, the best way to make cash is to get better in skills/cb because that gives you the better options. Yesterday i did 1, yes 1 armadyl god wars dungeon trip with my friend and got a 2-way split armadyl helm (5m as of now)
