Runescape is the largest online 3d adventure game. It is created by Jagex games Studio. There are two groups of players. Non- members or free players who do not pay to play runescape. These players are restricted to certain skills, weapons, armours, areas and quests. Than there are members or mems. These players pay a monthly fee to have access to everything that the game offers. There are different levels of players in runescape. You start of a level 3 and as they gain experience they level up. There are different skills available in runescape. Such as attack, strenght, defence and range. In each skill you start of with 0 experienc ebut once you start gathering experience you can level up and get stronger and better at each skill.

Skills such as fishing, wood cutting, fire making and cooking each provide you with something to help you in runescape. Cooking the fish on a wood fire cooks it and if you eat it, it heals you. This is very useful because if you die you lose everything except your three most valuable items.

As you can see different items are available but most have restrictions to be met. For example in the picture above you need a lvl 70 attack to use the whip and a lvl 60 defence to use the dragon boots. As always the stronger items cost more money. This is where the runescape bank comes in. Everything you have can be put into a bank or sold at the grand exchange. The grand exchange is like a stock market where everything can be sold but prices may ris eor drop depending on the demand.

This is also where you sell unwanted items or items you mine, create or find. The grand exchange is a great way to make money.

Quests are another way of making money. There are alot of quests and some are easy and short while others are long and hard. Quests also give you items that can be expensive or very useful and they also award you experience.

For non-members there are very few quests but runescape keeps you interested by creating quests for special events such as halloween and christmas.

Runescape is enourmous but only for members. Runescape non-members are restricted to one third of the whole runescape area.

You can now see why runescape is such a popular online game. And with constant updates and new additions runescape looks to improve something that is outstanding.
