RuneScape Private Servers ~ are They Worth It?
Find out this, and find out my favourite servers.
I can remember it almost like yesterday
It was a fresh, September last year. I had gone back to runescape over the summer, but I found it had just been wrong. With a bit of looking around, I know something wasn’t right. There were way too many bots. Back when I played regularly in ’06, ’07, and ’08, there were nowhere near this many bots.
As well, I noticed that…well… everything looked terrible. Sorry JaGex, but that’s a fact. The rune armour went from it’s classical, spherical nature, to being the closest looking thing to a card board box. One of my favourite activities, blending in with guards and knights at several locations was made obsolete by this update. I then prayed one last time, and went to check the prices of my steel bars. Here, look at one of the graphical updates:

That picture up there, yeah. That was done by me. The image above was probably one of the first things people thought about when Runescape was mentioned. Along with old logo, a “Runescape” done in runes, and a sword cutting between them, that was the most recognized image.
But, I’m not here to moan and keep bitching on about this. No, rather I’m here with a solution. Private Servers are the way to go, as they help bring back the nostalgia. My favourite private servers are:
· 2006Scape (once it comes out, the community is awesome)(Link to my review is http://gameolosophy.com/games/online/runescape/2006scape/ )
· Runesoul
· Near Reality to a point
Thanks for reading. If you decide to join any of those, my usename is BioThreat
