RuneScape PvP Guide for F2P 20-30 Combat

Range- Mage combo: dangerous at these combat levels. Mage has a huge upper hand at lower combat levels, range is very fast providing a huge upper hand to these pkers. Very hard to kill but a mistake such as picking up arrows to often can give you the upper hand. An another note- after launching a mage attack the ranger needs time to regain back to ranged combat, providing a few seconds of upper hand to you. Using melee against these rangers is a instant death.

Range-2h combo: Not very effective at these combat levels, but can still get you a few kills. Since their range level would be high and strength would be basic, you would have a huge upper hand over these pkers at these combat levels. The upper hand can be gained when the pker switches to 2h, once he’s attacks it takes time to regain ranged combat. But i suggest to use only range.

Melee (scimitar) : uses only a scimitar to get a kill, very uneffective way of pking. Easiest pures to out there to kill at these levels of combat. You basically have the upper hand all through out the fight. But still rangers can manage to kill you easily.

Melee (scimitar + 2h) : uses a scimitar to get the opponent to low health and switches to 2h for the winning k0. Average but not too effective at these levels of combat. You basically gain a huge upper hand after they switch to 2h and miss, as it takes time to regain combat. But this is the only good way to pk with melee. i suggest you should use this.

Melee- Mage: commonly used by strength pures, effective against most pkers. You gain the upper hand when they start using melee. Can be easily killed by range or mage by taking a risk. but i suggest using only mage.

Mage: uses mage attacks to kill players. very dangerous but can be killed by a ranger. this has less chances but mage fails. half of the time it misses. Melee against this pure at these levels is death, although they can be killed by luck. You basically gain the upper hand when they eat, hitting high which makes them eat a lot gives you a good chance. Once they make you start eating food you can consider yourself dead unless really lucky.
