RuneScape Pvp Worlds: Tactical Tips

So, have you allready read my other pvp guide? (If not, find the link at the bottom) However you are probaby thinking that the tips that you have recieved were a bit too general, and not specific. This guide is made entirely to fill in the gaps of my last guide, and show you some specific tactics which are really useful in Pvp worlds.

1. This is a tip for any type of player with a high enough combat to hit 1/5th of the opponents combat level. In professional Pvp, this is called a delayed switch, and it is the act of switching your main weapon for a 2 handed sword while running to a safespot. This can often trick opponents with low health into thinking that you are running away, while you can hit high and send them on their free journey to lumbridge.

2. If you are with some friends (at least 4), have a shot at luring people into the varrock wilderness. You will need a mage, a ranger, and a melee friend. Let your friends drop around 2k onto any multi-attack 2nd level wilderness spot. Tell your friends so they wait at level 4 wilderness – out of sight of any potential enemy. While your friends are waiting, your task will be to lure a potential victim. Go to any of the varrock banks, and ask a person of a higher level than you to team up with you. Say that you are going to the wilderness. When you get to the spot where the money is, your victim will see it, and jump the ditch. Let him get the money, and your mage friend should cast as many binds as he can on him. Let the rest of your friends do the dirty work of getting rid of him. Tip: turn coinshare on to let all of your friends have the same share.

3. Draynor is one of the best f2p luring locations, and not many are aware of it. If you walk east of the bank, and cross the road, you will instantly be in a multi-attack zone. Get at least 5 friends to come along with you. Make them stand in the same square in the multi-attack zone. While they stand there, venture into the bank and find someone you can “team up” with. Tell them that you have another team member waiting near the jail-house. Lead him/her there, and let your buddies do the rest =).

4. You have probably allready noticed that your dot on the mini map is white. You have probably also noticed that fences in Runescape are also white. If you stand at the end of a fence, people looking on the minimap will probably not notice your presence. Some of the best places to take advantage of this trick is on the road from lumbridge to varrock, where the prey will be very far away from a bank, giving you the best chance to strike.
