Items Needed: Uncharged essence sword, Silverlight, 5 Law runes, 5 Nature runes, Staff, Silver ore, Purifying stone, Iron Wire, Bucket, Blamish snail oil, Dark robe, Black skirt, Black wizard’s hat, 20 Cosmic runes, 50 of one kind of rune (you’ll see which ones later on in the quest)
Items recommended: Food, Armor, Woodcutting axe

Start Point: Basement of the wizard tower, south of Draynor

To Start: Examine the rubble or the broken table in the basement of the Wizards Tower

1. After examining the rubble or table Zenvior will talk to you. He’ll tell you the tower has been raided by the dark wizards from the Dark Wizard Tower. He’ll say that they will try to use the power to resurrect Delrith once and for all.

2. Go to the Dark Wizard Tower. After a small cutscene, a dark wizard will ask you to leave. Select the option, ‘What’s going on in here?’, and he’ll tell you that it’s dark wizard business.

3. Wear the black wizard items and wield your staff; take all other items off. Now, talk to the guard again and say that you are from the wizard circle south of Varrock. He’ll let you in.

4. Now, go into the basement of the tower. There will be a great cage in the center, surrounded by dark wizards. Talk to one and ask what the cage is for. Also ask what kind of sword it is he’s wielding.

5. He’ll tell you that Delrith will be summoned inside the cage, so no one can kill him during the process. He’ll talk about some adventurer who destroyed Delrith some time ago during the summoning.

6. Remember well his name and what kind of sword he’s wielding. You’ll need the info later on in the quest. Go to the Wizards Tower and talk with Zenvior about what you saw.

7. He’ll tell you you need a weapon to kill Delrith with during the summoning. Tell him about Silverlight.

8. Zenvior will confirm your idea, but that it will not work this time. Silverlight’s blade is not long enough to reach Delrith inside the cage. You’ll need to turn Silverlight into a long-wield object.

9. Show him the staff you wielded inside the Dark Wizard Tower, and he’ll tell you to attach Silverlight to it. But you have to make it withstand great energy; you need enchanted silver again.

10. Use your purifying stone with the silver ore to create purified silver. Take it to Aubury to enchant it. Now talk to Zenvior. He’ll tell you to get a fire-resistant bucket. Take your bucket and use the Blamish snail oil on it to make fire bucket. Talk to Zenvior again.

11. After a cutscene of Zenvior magically melting the silver into your bucket, you’ll receive a silver-filled bucket. Use your iron wire with it to make coated wire.

12. Now Zenvior will give you a grafted knife. Make incisions on the staff by using the knife on it. Now use Silverlight on the staff to get Long Silverlight. Use your coated wire on it to get Silverlight spear.

13. Now you need to pass as the dark wizard you spoke to earlier. Enchant your uncharged essence sword to the element you need. Then put on your dark wizard clothing, take everything else off, and wield your sword.

14. Make sure to bring food, Silverlight spear, Armor and a weapon. Now talk to the guard. He’ll ask you your name. You can choose from 4. Pick the name of the wizard you spoke to earlier.

15. He’ll doubt it’s you and ask to see your sword. If you made the right one, he’ll let you in. If you didn’t he’ll attack you. He’s level 103.

16. Now go to the basement of the tower and kill the wizard you’re impersonating. He’s level 18. Don’t use any food or potions. You need them for the last battle.

17. Now you will see a cutscene of Delrith being summoned inside the cage. Afterwards, wield your spear and attack him through the cage. He’ll teleport you to an arena.

18. All of a sudden he can talk. He’ll recognize you as the person who slew him before. Wear your armor and spear. Be ready to fight.

19. Attack him until he shouts something about being immune to Silverlight. You will not be able to hit him again. Climb over the stones in the arena and cut down the tree behind it. It’s a holy tree. After you get some branches use your grafted knife on them to make holy sticks. Go back into the arena. Make a fire with the sticks. Use the silverlight spear with the fire. Now attack Delrith. You can damage him again. During a cutscene you will banish him for all eternity.

20. After he dies you will receive a demon horn and get teleported back to the dark wizard tower. Use the grafted knife with the demon horn to hollow it out. Blow on it. A cutscene will play; all the dark wizards’ swords will shatter!

21. Talk to Zenvior to finish the quest.

Congratulations! Quest Complete!

(!) If you lose your Silverlight spear, you can create a new one by talking to Sir Pryin and getting a new silverlight, then repeat steps 10-12.

(! ) Silverlight spear has the same stats of a normal silverlight, only the attack styles will change.
