Runescape: Real World Trading

My opinion on trading real money for Runescape items such as money, amour, weapons and all sorts of things is split ended. I think that in a way we should be able to do it and in some ways not be able to.

Why we shouldn’t be aloud (and aren’t)?

I think that we shouldn’t be aloud to real world trade because in a lot of ways it destroys the fun of the game. If we can buy all the things we normally have to earn, all we are really doing is cheating are way out of the system. Yes I agree sometimes it can be fun, but if we do it all the time we will get bored and have noting to do on the game.

Why we should be able to real world trade?

I think that we should be able to real world trade because sometimes it’s frustrating to get the stuff you want. I know this personally because I play Runescape and I’m not a very high level. So when I want something I cant get it easy, if we could real world trade then I think it would be easier on a lot people that play the game and second hand, it would increase the stuff everybody has therefore forcing Jagex to make more items so only some people have them.

In conclusion, I think that we should be able to real world trade but only for certain items, like if we where only aloud to buy gold, then we would still be forced to buy the stuff from other players. Therefore still letting the other players gain a profit from this and therefore keeping the game going.
