Rune platebody – overall

Rune platebody has better defence stats on Stab, Slash and Range. To wear rune platebody players need to have level 40 Defence and finished Dragon Slayer quest (33 quest points required). I would suggest using rune platebody instead of rune chainbody.

Rune chainbody – overall

I would suggest using rune chainbody if you haven’t completed Dragon Slayer quest. To wear rune chainbody you must have level 40 Defence. Rune chainbody has better Attack bonuses by using Magic and Ranged combat styles than rune platebody. It also has better Defence stats from Crush and Magic attacks. I would suggest this for strength pures as it is cheaper, better Defence from Crush attacks (which is used by pures) and no quest is required to wear this armour piece.
