Runescape Skills Training Guide

I am going to teach you how to train a RuneScape skiller.

I am going to teach you how to train in runescape for free players. You might think “I already know how to train, I don’t need to read this junk.”, but please invest some time reading this. In runescape there are many types of players, there are three main types: All around, pures, and skillers.

You have to decide which one you want to be. I have experience with all three, but I specialize in pures. The majority of the players usually go with all around, and the majority of the pures and skillers have all around accounts. This is why, the all around players just want level their combat levels and total level in the short term. While most of the pures and skillers have reasonable experience with runescape and want to start out fresh and be “noobs that are good”, so combat level doesn’t really matter to us, it is the skill we’re training for. I recommend skillers for patient people, because they are good for the long term and pures for players that favour a certain skill over others. I personally favour mage over other skills, and I am reasonably patient, so I favour skillers and pures. In this article, I will only be talking about skillers.

I recommend during Tutorial Island, you get all your non-combat skills to 3 and don’t level your combat skills yet. Having a good start is very important. After you get off Tutorial Island, sell everything but earth, body and water runes. Then claim new runes from the magic tutor. Now, walk to varrock, and talk to grand exchange tutor. Then sell all the runes you have at Grand Exchange. Now you have a reasonable amount of gp to get started. There are 6 types of skillers you can be for ftp. They are firemaking, woodcutting, mining, cooking, fishing, and smithing. I recommend fishing, woodcutting and mining because they are very cheap and you can make a profit easily. Now buy the best tools you can use and get ready to train.

For fishing, I recommend the spot beside the fishing tutor for fishing skillers, Varrock mine for mining skillers and south of the Grand Exchange for woodcutting skillers.

Fishing is the easiest, so I will explain that first. Go to the fishing spot beside the fishing tutor ( South of the church graveyard ), then when you get to level 5 fishing, buy some bait then go to dranyor to fish, normally you won’t be attacked by dark wizards, but get ready to run just to be safe. Fish there till 20 fishing then go to barbarian village. I recommend you fish there till 50 fishing. Once you get 50 fishing, get 30 gp then go to Musa Point to fish lobsters. If you are fishing for xp, sell to general store, if for gp, get all the money you have (for the trip) then bank at dranyor. Fish lobsters till 70 fishing then start on swordfish (because of the tuna). Then fish swordfish till 99 fishing

For mining, start at varrock mine, mine copper and/or tin then bank them. Don’t mine iron till later! By the time get to 21 mining you should have enough to afford mith and addy pickaxes. Get your mith and addy pickaxes and go to the dwarven mines. Mine iron then sell to the mining store then drop the gp. Do that till 38 mining then go back to varrock mines to mine for gp to afford rune pickaxe. Now you got your rune pick, you have to choose between gp and xp. If you pick gp, go to rimmington and mine gold then abnk at falador, if you pick xp go to rimmington to mine iron, sell to general store then drop the gp. Do that till you have mining. Now go to the mining guild to mine, I suggest coal, because the mithril is likely to be taken. Do that till 99 mining

For woocutting, go to the spot south of grand exchange to woodcut trees then bank, till you have 10 woodcutting then go cut the oaks beside varrock palace, then bank the oaks. Go that till 31 woodcutting then sell the logs so you can buy addy axe, and mabey a rune axe. Go to the willows beside rimmington, cut, sell to general store then drop or keep the gp( Because willow logs do not sell anyways ). Keep doing that till 60 woodcutting, then go to either behind lumbridge castle or south of falador to cut yew. Do that till you have 99 woodcutting. You might be wondering why did I recommend yews? The reason is that I know how boring cutting willows are (yews are different), and you can make a fortune by the time you get 99 woodcutting.

Here is my guide, hope you liked it, I will post other guides later.

this is a kinda ok guide but wats gets to me is are you expecting ppl to stand there and cut yews til they reach lvl 99 cmon alot of players in runescape are always cutting yew which makes it impossible wat you should do is bem=cmone a mem and do the minigame barraels and you can make alot of money all you have to do is have at least lvl 50 to 58 mage or lvl 65 to 68 strg or lvl 68 to 70 range and if they drop stuff like a helm you can selll that for 1.5m
