RuneScape: The Magic Triangle

The magic triangle is a very important thing. the magic triangle tells you how the three races (mage, range, or swordsman) are the same and they have advantages and the disadvantages.

The three races are just like the game of rock,paper,scissors. Each races can defeat another race and get defeated too. for example

melee beats range

here is how:

advantages of being a swordsman(melee):

Most of the population in rs are swordsmen. They have hard weapons that will never run out like the runes or arrows that the mages and rangers use. Also they can beat rangers because rangers usually were armour like green drangonhide, leather, or hard leather, those armours are practically useless if you are using a sword because the sword can pierce through it easily.

disadvantages of being a swordsman:

Although melee beats range its pretty hard because rangers tend to run away ffrom their target and attack from behind rocks so they cant catch them, but once you catch them is game over for them! the real disadvantage that melee has is that mage can beat it. here is how: the armour swordsmen wear(steel, addy, mith, rune,etc.) are made of different types of metals, so when mages cast spells instead of protecting you the armour swordsmen wear hurts them more. The metal on the armour conducts the spells so it actually does more damge if you are wearing metal armour while fighing mages.

advantages of being a ranger:

The advantages of range is that the arrows can pierce through the armour of mages( mage robes). So when they attack it would do a lot of damage.

disadvantages of being a ranger:

the disadvantage is that rangers cant beat swordsmen. it is beacuse it is hard for their arrows to pierce through the mettal armour that swordsmen wear, so it technically does very little damage.

Advantages of being mage:

The advantage of being mage is that they can beat swordsman becuse their metal armor conducts the spells mages use therefore doing maximmum damge to them.

Disadvantages of being mage:

the disadvantage is that when fighting a ranger they have more chances of losiing because the arrows that rangers use can easily pierce through the light mage robes that mages wear.

So as you see all the races are equally the same but range and mage use more money becuae u need runes and arrows unlike mellee where you only need a sword which will never run out!
