Intro:
From all my experiences of playing Runescape, finding ways to make fast money in f2p is the hardest task of all. But I found almost all the great ways to make millions in f2p extremely fast. Now I’m willing to share my secrets with you FOR FREE!!
Instructions:
Through this guide I use many tools to simplify some terms to make it easier to understand here are the definitions:
Full inventory- usually meaning 28 items but sometimes its 27 when it is 27 I will and 27 in brackets next to the value.
Minimum sell price- this is the minimum price that you should sell your items. If the market price is any lower than the min price in this guide then don’t sell your items! It’s not worth your hard work! Wait for the price of the item to go up again.
Wield/Wear- Meaning you should wield the item while performing a task.
Beginner- levels 3-25
Standard- levels 26-50
Advanced- levels 51 and above
@ sign- advantage
(##)- The max amount of runes, arrows or stackable items you can get from a monster drop.
(Rare)-The chances of monsters dropping that item is rare
Map legend:
Red Lines- walking lines
Blue lines- teleport lines
Brown Lines- Ship travelling lines
Red circles- Teleport locations
Yellow circles- mysterious ruins location
3 main requirements needed for making money:
-Skills
If you have higher skill levels you will find making money easier
-Items
If you have the required items for some tasks you will finish the jobs faster
-Patience
The most important factor in making lots of money, if you have no patience then you have no money.
Beginner Money making:
Production:
1. Bones
A very fast and effective way for beginner players to make cash is by selling bones at the grand exchange. There are several locations around Runescape that has lots of bones. Like the woods behind lumbridge castle. Lots of people kill goblins there and leave bones behind. Another awesome location is the cow field where people only pick up the cowhides. The best place for finding bones in lumbridge is the chicken farms.
Minimum Sell price:
72gp ea
Full inventory = 2016gp (min)
2. Soft clay
This might be the best f2p beginner method around. Since you only need a mining level of 1 to mine clay and some water to soften it. Even most of the high level players do it. A good place to get clay is the dwarf mines because it’s near falador bank. Then use the water fountain to fill up your preciously claimed buckets and soften clay in the bank so you can get another load quickly.
Minimum sell price:
160gp ea
Full inventory = 4480gp (min)
3. Cowhide
Selling cowhide was the quickest way to make money for beginners, WAS. Now everyone takes cowhides for crafting xp so getting cowhides can be quite a problem. Good thing I found out a new way to get hides. Go in the fields behind the windmill they have lots of cows there. Also there is a new storage box so you can get a lot more than 28!
Minimum sell price:
110gp ea
Full inventory = 3080gp (min)
Combat:
1. Chickens
The only thing that I can say here is kill the chickens and pick up their feathers. Since feathers don’t take up inventory space you’re sure to get lots in one haul!
Chicken Drops:
Other- Feathers (15), raw chicken and bones
Chick Locations:
-Chick farms in Lumbridge
-Farm outside of falador
-Champion’s guild
Minimum sell price:
5gp ea
1000 feathers = 5000gp
Standard Money making:
Production:
1. Iron ore
Requirements:
-level 15 mining
-Brass key
-pickaxe (wield)
Mine iron ore at the hill giant dungeon and sell them at the grand exchange for money. Make sure there are no items in your inventory except for the brass key.
Minimum sell price:
100gp ea
Full inventory (27) = 2700gp (min)
2. Silver bar
Requirements:
-level 20 mining
-pickaxe (wield)
Mine sliver ore at the mine in al’karid and smelt them into bars once they are stored. Here is the fastest way to do this (picture below).
Minimum sell price:
170gp ea
Full inventory = 4760gp (min)
Combat:
1. Moss Giant (level 42)
Requirements:
-able to handle a level 42 monster
Very simple and straight forward, kill them and sell your loot.
Moss giant drops:
Weapons/Armor-Staff, Steel arrows (30), Iron arrows (15) and Mithril sword
Runes-Air runes (18, 28), Earth runes (27), Chaos runes (7), Nature runes (6), Law runes (3), cosmic runes (3), and Death runes (3)
Other-Spinach roll, Coal, Steel bar, big bones and uncut gems
Moss giant locations:
-Varrock sewers
-Crandor Isle
-Wilderness
Advanced Money Making:
Production:
1. Lobster
Through the history of Runescape there is always one main key to survival: FOOD. What better food to eat when you are in danger then lobster? Lobster has been in high demand ever since RS began. For multiple reasons like Training, Pking and even merchanting. But today I’ll show you how to take lobster producing to the ultimate level!
Requirements:
-Money (around 1500gp)
-Axe & Tinderbox
-Lobster pot
-Lumbridge Explorer’s ring
-level 40 fishing & cooking
-A lot of patience
First take the ship to karamja which is 30gp. Then chop down a tree by the dock and continue to the fishing spot. Fish for lobsters until your inventory is full, and then cook them. If you burned any fish for more. After your inventory is full use teleport to cabbage patch on your explorer’s ring. Run to the falador bank and teleport to cabbage patch again, Repeat (image directions are below).
NOTE: After all your money is gone you should have 1200 lobs.
Minimum sell Price:
250gp ea
1200 Lobs = 300000gp (min)!
2. Air Runes
Runes, a source that drives all mages, without runes mages would be useless. That’s why air runes are in so high demand, plus the fact that the majority of spells need air runes makes them extremely vicious tools in money making.
Requirements:
-at least 33 Runecrafting
-500 rune essence or more
-air tiara (wear)
-completed the rune mysteries quest
-Lumbridge explorer’s ring
Get go rune essence mine by talking to Aubury in varrock. Mine essence and store them in the bank just below the rune shop. Repeat until you have 500 or more.
Now teleport to the cabbage patch with your ring and run to the bank for rune essence then teleport to the cabbage patch again and head for the air Runecrafting ruins and make runes. Repeat until all essence is gone.
Minimum sell price:
13gpea
2000 air runes = 26000gp (min)
3. Steel Bars
Steel bar has been in high demand since my guide of master smithing which showed people that making steel platebodies is the most effective way to get smithing xp. I stumbled upon this by accident but this also created a massive business.
Requirements:
-Mining level of 30 or 60
-Pickaxe (wield)
-Level 25 magic
-Rune required for varrock teleport
-Brass key
-completed the quest Prince Ali rescue (@)
First mine iron and coal at the hill giant cave, stop mining after you’ve acquired 200 iron ore and 400 coals (you may use the miner’s guild if you reached a mining level of 60). Now teleport to lumbridge, go through the toll gate to Al’karid (Make sure you have some money in your inventory if you didn’t finish Prince Ali rescue). Locate the bank and withdraw 9 iron ore and 18 coals. Smelt them into 9 steel bars then store them. Repeat until all ores are gone. You should have 200 steel bars in your bank and you’ve gained 3500 smithing xp. Now teleport to varrock and sell your load!
Minimum sell price:
620gp ea
200 steel bars = 124000gp (min)
Combat:
1. Lesser Demon (level 82)
That’s right the boring old lesser demon. But this guide will bring some hope to the people that are tired of training on them.
Requirements:
-able to handle a level 82 monster
Lesser Demon Drops:
Weapons/Armor-Steel scimitar, Steel axe, Steel long sword, Mithril sword, Steel med helm, Steel full helm, Black kite shield, Mithril sq shield, Mithril chain body, Adamant chain body and Rune med helm
Runes-Fire runes (30-60), Air runes (15), Chaos runes (12), Nature runes (9) and Death runes (3)
Other- Gold ore, Jug of wine, uncut gems and ashes
Lesser Demon Locations:
-Karamja cave
-Crandor Isle
-Wilderness
-Melzar’s Maze
2. Cockroach Soldier (Level 83)
This monster is new but its very strong be prepared for a tough fight.
Requirements:
-Completed the stronghold of player safety
-able to kill a level 83 def noob (lol)
Cockroach Soldier Drops:
Weapons/armor-Rune Scimitar, Rune Square Shield, Mithril Med Helm and Mithril Platebody
Runes- Death Rune (17), Law runes (20) and Fire runes (58)
Other- Mithril ore (3), Adamantite ore, Coal (3), Runite ore (rare) and Uncut gems
Cockroach soldier location:
-In the stronghold of player safety cave
Ending:
This is my guide to making millions in Runescape know some of you might already know some of the methods but guides tend to give a person more confidence in making money. But after I wrap up this guide I want to give you all some tips on making fast money.
Tips:
1. Buy for less, sell for more
That’s how everyone makes a profit
2. Always have money in your bank or with you
Don’t invest all your cash on one product, carry some backup money incase your invested item falls dramatically in price.
3. Always trade in Grand Exchange
That way no one can take advantage of the 10k price span.

these r good tips! but also, get u know were. i am only lvl 49, and the highest i have made was 500k. if u r a member, mine pure esscence. once u mine 500pure esscence, sell’em at the G.E. u will get about 87k! i am using it to buy rune armour. so i can train. ifu r my lvl, do the same, if not, save the money!!!!!
A good way to make money is collect bones and sell at the grand exchange for 86 each
Wow is that seriously the best things you guys could come up with? How seriously pathetic.. I say become a member, get at least 65 combat, and kill green dragons and sell their bones and hides…dragon bones=2.5k green dragonhide=1.5k…. do the math.. 50k a trip! I get 1m a day withought playing all day…
Yeah, Green Dragon is the best way to get money if ur under level 100. I can easily get 2M at no time.

I sell rune essence in like two seconds at full price no need to down the price infact might even up the price.
And doing that got rune full armor too bad i cant where rune plate armor because of the dragon quest.

Well,yes.
But I wouldn’t recommend it because a Lob fishing Bot uses the draynor route.
So if you repeatedly fish for lobs then you might be mistaken as a bot.

Seriously ownage money I get close to 9m per day.
Have fun takes allot of time, patients and you should get around 70-75 farming to get some serious money estimated 2m per hr.
Thats at 75 Farming that is. Takes quite a bit of money to get started but once you get some levels up most of it will be easy sailing.
THIS GUIDE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u seriously think this makes millions? maybe in like 5 months if u a member theres lots more things get ur woodcuttion lvl up to 60 (if u not member) and sell the yews 500GP EA (estimation) do the math 1 inventory = 14K look 500 x 28 ok now if u got 500 yews 250k then u become a member after to lvl 80 WC (said 80 cause its hard to WC magics with 70 WC) then 1 magic log = about 1250 EA holy crap!!!! 500 magic logs = 625k then theres runecraftion that dosent make much money after updates theres lots more out there to do besides this bull so i say get a axe and a pickaxe start mining till u got 30 mining get a member acc with 30 mining start mining pure essence till about lvl 50 mining then start WCing THERE U GO 2 BETTER WAYS TO GET MONEY ON RS DO THOSE U BE MILLIONARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
