RuneScape vs Other MMOs

With runescape becoming ever so popular, you may find yourself asking, “Is there something better that I could be playing?” While other games can entice you with their completely free memberships and so called “active” staff, this is most likely not something that you can count on.

I have personally played and tested countless online games and would have to say that they are all (for the most part) bogus. Most free online MMOs such as Maplestory or Rohan:Blood Fued may look good on the outside, but as I said before they are just bogus. Maplestory is very popular and looks good, but is full of people using botting programs and other third party hacks. The same can also be said for Rohan: Blood Fued.

Next there is the concept of P2P (pay to play) online games, such as World of Warcraft. While these games may seem better and bot free because you have to pay to play them, that is also mostly untrue. Most P2P games, like World of Warcraft, have a huge player community and when you have a problem, it goes unanswered a majority of the time. This is a huge problem along with bots that makes a lot of online players unhappy.

Runescape is far superior to most other games because the explained problems above are almost non-existent. With all of Runescapes methods to stop bots (random events which require an actual person to complete), there are almost no bots whatsoever. Runescape also has a very good staff behind it. If you have a problem with the game or another player you can report it and it will be handled very promptly. Lastly, Runescape has both Free and P2P options, with the P2P being almost half of most other games!

All in all I would highly recommend playing Runescape. It is as good as most other people say it is and is a good way to kill some time. I thank you for reading this article and hope that you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
