RuneScape – Will Evolution of Combat Destroy RuneScape?

As most of you RuneScape players know, the Evolution of Combat update will occur very soon, probably some time next month. As a result of this many players have vowed to quit; as for me, I have already quiet. As a 7 year veteran RuneScape player I can pretty much say Jagex has screwed up. This update isn’t like any other and will destroy the game FOREVER. Personally, I think Jagex are implementing this new combat system, otherwise known as beta, to make the game more interesting and appealing. With the reactions from players, I don’t think Jagex made the right choice. It seems like they are copying other games such as World of Warcraft and this is giving the impression that Jagex are not original and can’t think of their own ideas. This is one of the main reasons why I quit, because Jagex can’t think of their own ideas and are wrecking the whole game.

Another reason I quit isn’t related to Evolution of Combat, it is related to RWT (Real World Trading) that occurs in RuneScape. A large majority of RuneScape players RWT. They engage in buying/selling accounts, buying/selling RuneScape gold and other things such as powerleveling. This has been around for years but just recently the black market has been out of control, i’d say more than half of RuneScape RWT. These are the main reasons why I quit RuneScape, Evolution of Combat and out of control RWT.
